House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes condemned Twitter on Sunday for continuing to apply a layer of censorship on the Drudge Report.
Two months after the California Republican raised the alarm about Drudge Report "being censored by Twitter," Nunes again nailed the social media platform for putting up a wall separating users from the top right-leaning news aggregator. "I just looked on Twitter," Nunes said on "Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo." "The Drudge Report is being censored today, so for the last three or four days I haven't been able to get on the Drudge Report because it's being censored on Twitter."
a spokesman for the congressman told the Washington Examiner that he is seeing a message saying that they are blocked due to potentially "sensitive content."
While such warnings of "sensitive content" placed over tweets from Drudge Report can be bypassed by unchecking a box Twitter's "Privacy and Safety" section, the spokesman explained that the congressman is drawing attention to the extra hoop users are required to jump through to access the tweets.
Twitter did not return a request for comment about why Drudge Report tweets are censored.

Just follow Mike Cernovich. He’s way better than Drudge anyway.
Where are conservatives? Why is there no conservative Facebook, Google or Twitter?
Where are conservatives? Why is there no conservative Facebook, Google or Twitter?
...
Actually that is a great question...reason is imho, when conservatives get rich and successful, 95% sell out to be popular...they turn into the never Trumpers like, such as Steve Forbes...I can name many ...they just don’t stay that way. Ugh!!!
I agree, no use to fight back against the Leftists. The will prevail anyway.
Just accept it.
PLUS, they will never go after Mike Cernovich.
Access to capital. It is a huge problem in the economy. Everyone thinks that if they have a great idea, the money will be thrown at them. Not true. It is very difficult for a pre-revenue company to raise capital. I have been working with three companies that are trying to raise capital for three years to fund amazing products and long term service contracts.
Fight all you want.
But Drudge isn’t the hill I’m dying on.
He sends more traffic to leftist sites than anyone else in the world.
He left us, we didn’t leave him.
Newt Gingrich had similar things to say about Google.
My solution would be to strip them all of non-material intellectual copyrights and patents so that others may compete on equal footing.
They are monopolies and they will monopolise dissenting voices.
They have no business owning intellectual property rights on non-tangible items like methods, how many mouse clicks, content control, presentation streaming methods and 99% of algorithms.
They get to keep Patents and Trademarks and the artistic productions.
Thank God they’ll never come after Mike Cernovich.
So you’re safe.
That’s what I hear you saying.
Exactly!! Drudge who? Pfft, it’s dead..let it fall off the cliff!
:-)
Drudge has lurched left, anyway.
Exactly, it’s not like we’re in a war for anything important.
There is a huge opportunity now that Google has given up its contract with the government on AI. The internet was a government invention, the left merely took advantage of it.
I would love to see competition introduced. There is no way every great tech mind is liberal only. There has to be tons of secret conservatives in Silicon Valley we just have to find them. A great place to start might be in the US Military.

We already know why they do it. Partisan Media Shills ping. Thanks caww.
They didnt come after Drudge. He dropped his drawers and bent over for them.
He is the single largest driver of traffic to leftist media in the world.
Totally agree.
Twitter put limits in place because they were getting hammered for “Hate Tweets”. The Left can bury Conservative sites by reporting them as hate tweets and the software will hide them.
Like I said elsewhere, fortunately this issue isn’t over anything big.
It’s not like we’re in a war for freedom or anything important like that.
If it were, we should be pulling together, as it is we can all go our separate ways.
