It was fortuitous that our country was created at a time when Englishmen had the rights that are enshrined in our Bill of Rights, and those then became the written law for all time. In the UK, rights can be taken away any time, because there is no written constitution, it continually “evolves” the way leftists want ours to.
Does the Magna Carta not still apply for an uprising if they feel they have been wronged by their government?
You betray your profound ignorance of the modern monarchy, and especially the currently reigning Monarch. “Wrong” doesn’t begin to cover it.
It’s the foundation for the notion that the king had some limitations, albeit only with respect to his nobles. Nothing else in the Magna Carta remains as law, while our written Constitution is still the supreme law of the land.
