In San Francisco, the last Republican mayor was George Christopher in 1964 ...
It is horrible. Even the decent areas reek of urine. I’m shocked there hasn’t been a cholera outbreak or something similar.
I just don’t see any reason to ever visit that city. The negatives far and away outweigh any positives.
Democrat planned garbage dump.
And note, people blame Reagan for closing mental health institution causing this problem when the fact of the matter is the ACLU sued claiming that no one who is mentally ill and is not a violent threat can be detained against their will in a mental health facility. Because they won this suit, most of the ill left these facilities leaving them virtually vacant and ripe for closing. Not Reagan’s fault and certainly not a directive from him.

Be sure to wear
Some flowers in your hair

Democrats should never govern.
“I think weve taken this as a kind of new normal, and it’s not. It’s wrong, and we have to do something about it.”

Ads. Political funding.
And not least, sheer bravery.
How can it be? How can it have gotten to this point?
Decades of liberal rule. And I bet you're one of them, Mr. D'Alessandro.
I do not know what he is talking about, there are plenty of places worse.
I live in Freetown and there are areas here much worse than downtown San Francisco. But we get no tourists there either.
That photo tableau looks like a painting of a city after some devastating event. Is it Puerto Rico after the hurricane?
New Orleans after it’s own hurricane? Maybe a certain part of Chicago right after Memorial Day.
Interesting. The last time I visited S.F. was about 1970. At the time, everyone was impressed how clean the city was and there were flowers growing everywhere.
Hey, that looks like a Weber BBQ grill in the picture. Those suckers are pricey. I don’t even have one. Oh well.....
I was there a few months ago and the Marina District seemed to be largely spared of this crap.
Step One, re-elect Nancy Pelosi.
Step Two, expect a different outcome.
Once vied as the prettiest city in the USA.
So sad.
