A top Senate Republican is challenging the Justice Department over extensive redactions made in files showing text messages between anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, drew particular attention to one text that suggested the Obama White House is running this, in reference to an unspecified investigation.
But, like in so many of the files, a name was redacted and the context was unclear, though one report suggests that was related to the Russia probe.
In a letter sent Wednesday to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Grassley called for all redactions to be removed.
The manner in which some redactions have been used casts doubt on whether the remaining redactions are necessary and defensible, Grassley wrote.

All this corruption and treason is going to overwhelm the judicial system unless it is done properly.
Its called a subpoena Senator Grassley.
You should know that. Knock off this kabuki theater crap and do something.

Same for them as for Lois Lerner; a large pension and a happy life from a grateful Politburo.
“A top Senate Republican is challenging the Justice Department over extensive redactions made in files showing text messages between anti-Trump FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.”
Has there ever been a more worthless Attorney General? I’ve had it for months,
btt
Hes doing something.
Hes telegraphing to all the defense lawyers out there who are fighting Muellers indictments as to where there next legal defense should be.
And thats not a small thing.
Not in the history of this nation...no.
Those two love birds sure are all business.
Does she scream “Impeach Trump” during sex?
Why doesn’t Trump declassify ALL Strzok-Page emails? That would take away Rosensessions’ rationale for redacting any portion of them.
Because of the threat this cabal posed to our democracy, the congress and the American people need to see these emails. Every word of them.
I hear you. It’s as if he recused himself from the whole job, not just the Mueller farce.
“Same for them as for Lois Lerner; a large pension and a happy life from a grateful Politburo.”
Trump’s attorney general Jeff Sessions made the decision not to pursue Lerner and her crimes.
Just wondering if some money passed from Lois Lerner to Sessions or if Session was rewarding her. I’m betting on the latter.
You would think the media would be following those two around daily. Camped out on their doorsteps.
“Just wondering if some money passed from Lois Lerner to Sessions or if Session was rewarding her. Im betting on the latter.”
While the Tea Party made the GOP capture of the House in 2010 possible, watching the establishment of the party shun the Tea Party was a wake up call.
Then in 2012 Romney made a point of signaling he did not want any Tea Party help. It was as though the establishment Republicans were afraid of their voter base. It seems they conspired with the Democrats, and the Obama administration, to dampen the Tea Party movement even though it had proven the ability to energize voters to support GOP candidates.
Sessions is still part of the establishment. Every time the media stirs up rumors Trump may fire Sessions we can count on the GOP establishment to rally around Sessions, and not the president who has been ill served by Sessions. Clearly there is no interest in holding Lois Lerner, or any Obama official, accountable for crimes and wrong doing.
Why?
Grassley was the Ass behind the Gop trying to protect Mueller with
A law blocking Trump .
He feel the blow back from his Base but he is Pure Uniparty .
I so wanted to wipe that smirk off her face, I still do. So many need to walk away in chains...
