President Trumps pick to lead the CIA Gina Haspel picked up endorsements from key Democrats Tuesday ahead of a confirmation vote expected later this week.
Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee Mark Warner, D-Va., and Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., both offered support to Haspel on Tuesday afternoon.
Im going to support Gina Haspels nomination to be Director of the CIA. I also respect my colleagues who have made a different decision, Warner said in a statement on Tuesday, acknowledging that his endorsement was a difficult decision and citing valid questions raised throughout the process about Haspels history.
Heitkamp also said she is planning to vote to confirm Haspel on Wednesday.

McCain and Paul are against the nomination.
McCain will be a no show.
Yep, Paul really ticks me off but McLame can’t vote anyway.
Joe Donnelly D-IN has also decided to vote for her conformation.
I'm thinking, "why is Brennan so glowing about her? What don't we know?".
She seems like the kind of director we need, so it is just curious. It could be a nothing burger.
and Joe Manchin D -WV
McCain is a Senator in name only. The voters in Arizona have only one Senator.....nutcase, Jeff, the Flake, and he is useless. McCain may as well pass on..he cannot vote one way or the other, because he must physically be in Washington, DC to cast his vote for his vote to be counted. The voters in Arizona must really be fools!!!
It looks like she’s got it locked up now.
Support Free Republic, Folks!
Mcain will not be there Paul is against.
So she starts with 49 Republicans.
Donnely, Heitkamp, Warner and Manchin are Dems who will vote to confirm
That means she is a YES for Confirmation unless someone knows of some Republican squishes out there other then Paul?
Yep, cuz he’s dying
Good now we can tell McAmnesty Flakey and at least one other GOP puke to GF Themselves.
Paul usually turns at the last moment. He likes to be the last act before the vote. I’d say it’s his MO.
Write Paul. He will change mind if the facts are straight.
Paul would tick me off if he were the deciding factor, but I can’t begrudge him sticking to his principles.
Yep, the attention getting drama queen has done that on several occasions.
