You hear about the Trump country bubble and the liberal bubble, though the latter one is much, much denser. There may be one that could rival the dome encompassing Hillarys America: the anti-gun bubble. Youd think after multiple tragedies and shoddy reporting concerning gun terminology, the media and their ilk would learn. They havent. Its gotten worse. After the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in February, the media still doesnt know the difference between semi-automatic and automatic, one outlet thought a shotgun was an AR-15 rifle, and the media still doesnt know that a) the AR-15 is a very popular rifle; b) you canhunt with it; c) its great for self-defense; and d) millions of Americans own them. They dont know the laws either; the age to purchase rifles and shotguns has been 18 for years.
Recently, David Hogg, a Marjory Stoneman Douglas student and anti-gun activist, dropped his five-point plan for gun control.
It just reinforced what we already know about pro-gun control America: they dont know the laws.
Hoggs five-point platform is straightforward.

They need a 5 point suppository. (ala Dirty Harry)
Yes but it is a start don’t think they well stop with forward with this
It is all about moving the agenda forward.
There goal is to outlaw and confiscate.
Don’t ever forget it.
Actually, their goal is most of us dead, the rest in chains.
The idiots embrace the negligent Liberalism that facilitated the massacre.
They were told to wear black to be in mourning...
The smiles they wear because it is fun not being dead
Gee, I just bought an AR online with no background check and had it delivered to my door!
Oh, wait. It didn’t include the stripped lower receiver. I bought that separately at a gun show. Also, the seller was an FFL and I did have to go through a background check and fill out a 4473 for the lower.
So much for the dual myths that you can buy a gun online without a background check, and you can buy guns at a gun show without a background check.
Hmmm. I do remember when buying a rifle and having it delivered to your door via the post office was perfectly fine.
That is the truth. They want to kill us or enslave us.
“violance”?
LOL
Last firearm mailed to my PO box was from the CMP back in 1993. Even that has stopped. Now the CMP ships them Fed-X, and required me to drive 40 miles to pick it up at their main terminal. Haven’t ordered one since.
That must have been before the "sensible" gun control act of 1968.
There are exceptions.
I had a Finnish M39 Mosin-Nagant delivered to my door. It was built on an antique Sestroryetsk receiver.
I have to tell you, it made waiting for the mail fun again.
It’s only an exception if you have a C&R license.
The definition of an antique excludes those modified to fire modern ammunition.
ATF Link to Antique Firearm Definition
For the purposes of the National Firearms Act, the term Antique Firearms means any firearm not intended or redesigned for using rim fire or conventional center fire ignition with fixed ammunition and manufactured in or before 1898 (including any matchlock, flintlock, percussion cap or similar type of ignition system or replica thereof, whether actually manufactured before or after the year 1898) and also any firearm using fixed ammunition manufactured in or before 1898, for which ammunition is no longer manufactured in the United States and is not readily available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade.
7.62x54R is certainly available in ordinary channels of commercial trade.
