That is why congressional oversight is so essential. But even then, most hearings on the Hill are just political theater and not intended to really hold anyone accountable. Their only concern is re-election.

Trump’s strategy is so clear and honest that they cannot comprehend it. He see’s things that are wrong and commits to fixing them. Simple as that.
Trump has a businessman’s approach to running things: stay focused on taking care of the business at hand. The politicians, who cannot fathom how Trump operates, are only interested in avoiding responsibility and furthering their own careers. Its no wonder they never accomplish anything.
Why did the Obama administration spy on the Trump campaign? To ensure a Hillary win and a continuation of Obamunist policies.
