For the “first time in the country’s history,” Saudi Arabia has agreed to build Christian churches for its Christian population, which before now has been banned by law from practicing their faith openly.
The Egypt Independent reports the signing of a cooperative agreement between Saudi officials and the Vatican to “build churches for Christian citizens to advocate the important role of religions and cultures in renouncing violence, extremism, terrorism and achieving security and stability in the world.”

I suspect so.
The Church there has many battles to face yet.
On a related note, I always thought that as an anti-terrorist measure we should carpet bomb Islamic areas with scripture, audio recordings of the Gospel of John, and sermons in the local languages.

I don't trust these guys. No cross on that church? They say the churches are for the Christians, but will they allow Christian worship inside? Will the 'pope' make a Chinese-style deal where the muslims are allowed to pick the bishops? Will they and the priests be undercover agents for the mullahs? Paranoid? Certainly! Taqiyya is the word.
