President Trump's newest legal adviser, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, shocked White House allies on Wednesday when he admitted in a televised appearance that President Trump reimbursed his personal attorney for the $130,000 payment he made to porn actress Stormy Daniels.
..Another attorney, who requested anonymity because of his ties to Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow, said Giuliani's comments were even worse because they appeared to contradict a comment Trump made to reporters in early April about Cohen's payment to Daniels...

Rudy behaved and acted as if either drunk or on meds.Time to put a leash and muzzle on him and tell him to stop all media interviews.
Rudy went kamikaze for the first pro-American president since Ronald Reagan.
Good for him.
Well...it appears that it completely eliminated the illegal campaign contribution canard of the Mueller/Rosenstein gang.

Exactly. How is that a bad thing?
He got this ridiculous issue off the table. He did more in one morning, than anyone thus far.
I think that’s the point. He got rid of the illegal campaign finance angle. Now where do they go? He reimbursed his attorney for something, out of his own pocket. No where to go.
Right.
Between these 2 options (Trump fibbed to scum bag reporters while on AF1) -or- (Trump conspired with his Attorney to break campaign finance laws), I’ll go with option 1.
What ever the MSM claims the opposite is true. The article is 100% BS lies.
Rudy is past his prime.
He’s not helping.
Criticizing someone gives the impression that you know more, are more important than, and superior to that person.
Concern Troll much?
Rudy is doing what he does best. He is very well-liked (America’s Mayor) and is making Mueller an even bigger object of disdain in the public eye. Factual glitches don’t amount to much in this context. Rudy is Trump’s pit bull.
UMM NO.
The former head of the FEC did that very authoritatively long ago.
‘He got this ridiculous issue off the table. He did more in one morning, than anyone thus far.’
Nailed it.
Strange, POTUS seems to disagree with you,
...we love Rudy, hes a special guy but he doesnt understand all the facts... hes only been here a few days... he understands this is a witch hunt... hell get his facts straight.
+1
Fake News
This is nonsense. Rudy was obviously chosen to deliver the message that Trump paid Cohen. It was about to come out anyway at some point. Rudy had to change the subject to get this out during his interview and he squeezed it in as the time was running out. I’m certain that he hoped the subject would come up, the transition was awkward.
Further, the message was delivered the same time Trump is getting concessions from North Korea and Comey’s book is winding down. To me it was obvious the timing was Trump’s choosing and he chose Rudy to deliver the message.
In my opinion this was not an accidental slip, this was under Trump’s direction. Well trained lawyers like Ruddy do not let something like this slip (no matter how drunk or senile) unless it was intentional.
Why did Trump want this out? I assume that Mueller was using this as leverage in their negotiations and Trump wanted it off the table and at the same time he wanted it released under his control and under his timing.
