What if Trump actually instructed Giuliani to lie on hannity about the Daniels settlement funds reimbursement?
Giuliani then does just that.
Then trump simply contradicts him later.
All this just to get more publicity on the presumption that the Daniels imbroglio is going nowhere legally and that in politics there is no such thing as bad publicity. The resultant attacks by msm against trump only serve to strengthen trumps political base and the damage is minimal because only a few Hillary diehards watch the msm these days anyways. Neither Giuliani nor trump have actually done anything illegal (??) in this scenario despite the lamentations of the msm pundits. It could even be retracted later leaving little if any permanent political damage if a suitable motivation were to be presented alongside the retraction, e.g. Help distract the msm from derailing the trump plan on some agenda item that actually matters to the majority of Americans (insert any trump platform agenda item here).
Trump could continue to use this strategy so long as he can continue to pitch to the American people the msm successfully as an enemy of the American people.
Rudy did that to keep them from the meme it was done to protect the President - he defined it as protecting Mr. Trump’s family. Big difference in how they get to spin it and obviously put out because they discovered that Cohen was reimbursed.
Exactly. Rudy is smart. Get it out there and off the table. It removes a perjury trap. Mueller was probably drooling to have a go at this but Rudy has busted Mueller's balloon.
The story may be embarrassing but not illegal. In a world of standards set by TMZ and the Kardashians, this story will be forgotten soon enough.
Fake News.
“Another attorney, who requested anonymity”
read no further ... waste of time reading fake news that’s really just unsubstantiated rumors ...
>> POTUS seems to disagree with you <<
Sorta like the weather in Wash DC? If you don’t like it today, not to worry. It will be OK tomorrow.
>> Giuliani is not a good public spokesperson <<
I thought this thread was supposed to be pro-Rudy.
Are you trying to spoil everything?
I thought Rudy was great on Hannity.
Yes, and I doubt the entire premise of the article that the White House is fuming.
What, we are to think Rudy just off the cuff went on Hannity’s show and spilled the beans?
I think he did exactly what was agreed to between him, other counsel, and the POTUS.
I could be wrong, but I have always wondered at some of these articles that claim DJT is pissed at person in cabinet. How do they know this? Is this like Spy Kids, and the media has flown a bugging device that looks like a house fly into the White House? I just don’t buy it anymore.
