Earnings Trump 2018: 1st Quarter Highest in a Quarter Century
https://thegoldwater.com/news/24939-Earnings-Trump-2018-1st-Quarter-Highest-in-a-Quarter-Century
President Trump promised that he would Make America Great Again, and his victories so far include the highest wages in American history, the lowest unemployment rates in American history for all Americans especially for minorities, and now he’s achieved the highest first-quarter earnings for businesses and corporations in a quarter century!
The endless winning President Trump promised on the campaign trail has become a reality. You’re going to win so much; you’ll be sick and tired of winning, Trump said.
Well Mister President, we’re not tired of winning yet!
With first quarter results via corporations being higher than they’ve been in 25 years, that hasn’t stopped liberal media from ignoring the President’s successes, and instead, you see them focus on nonexistent, unimportant scandals to try and attack the Trump Administrations credibility.
Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S states that 343 companies, or about 70% of the total S&P 500 membership that has reported their earnings as of today, that a whopping 79.9% of those earnings exceed far beyond any analysts expectations.
Golly. We better impeach this guy quick before he fixes everything!
Ha! Yup. If there were a safe way to let a Dem run things for 6 months right now just to show how fast things would revert to pre-Donald, I'd love to see it. There is nothing like an "object lesson" to make a point
Wheeeeeeeeee!
This almost makes me want to go back to work. ALMOST. ;)
While it's true the Kenyan usurper encouraged the use of disability to make ends meet, he did in fact inherit a financial crisis that was not of his making.
The crisis was the result of lowering tariffs in the 60's, and letting our jobs hemorage overseas. Allowing illegal immigration during administrations run by both branches of the uniparty. And putting bandaids on the economy such as relaxing credit standards to boost home building.
The Kenyan's actions didn't do anything to help the economy over the 8 years he was in charge. In fact, most of what he did hurt the economy. He encouraged more immigration, negotiated more bad trade deals, increased regulations on American industry, hurt the energy sector, he bloated government, wasted infrastructure funds and even created bathroom confusion.
That is great news!
More FUEL for the Democrat Beat Down that’s coming, Fall, 2018.

It really is interesting how stats always seem to come in “worse than expected” under Obozo, and “better than expected” under Trump.
Weekly jobless claims increased less than expected...
The second part, lowest since '73, should be the lead, not the negative proclaiming a rise. I'll bet they were gritting their teeth when they had to write that, and the "less than expected" part!
We are hitting steady state...a firm foundation and not going back...
Guess it really isn’t “It’s the economy stupid” when a Republican is President.
Yeah, this grossly understates the improvement.
I HATE the f-ing FAKE as sh*t media. The AP reported unemployment claims went up not saying one good thing about the economy and then jumped right back into Mueller/investigation/Trump.
will this help reduce the debit? - even a teenie bit???
Yes. When the GOP Congress balanced the budget in the late 1990s it was balanced because the GOP Congress slowed down spending and the economy grew fast enough to out strip spending.
The growing economy will help reduce the debt but Trump is going to have to put the smack down on the Congress’s wastrel ways
