Two things to remember.... actually, - Three.
1. Your brain cells don’t reproduce.....ever. Whatever a person gets at birth, that’s it. That buzz from smoking Maryjane, -is the killing of a user’s brain cells.
2. You can’t unscramble an egg. So, it more or less begs the question; - What kind of rehab are we talking about here?
3. They call it Dope for a reason, and the more technical term would be “ a rubber-head”. Once a Rubber-head always a Rubber-head. BTW, most Hard Drug addicts in the World, that are still alive(?) will tell their story of starting out with Marijuana and moving up stronger and stronger drugs until they find themselves unable to function (earn wages, provide for family, better themselves, etc.) in society and then all the taxpayers can watch their tax dollars go to help out the growing population of Rubber Heads! Oh, and make sure the MJ in state run stores is top notch stuff. .... Brilliant solution to increasing mental alertness and a better life.

I can tell you that after I stopped smoking pot, unmarked police cars stopped following me wherever I went.

2. Even if something is broken or missing does not mean that rehab is impossible. See the thousands of vets with missing limbs, etc.
3. Really? A nickname is an actual talking point for you? Are you sure you never smoked any? My sister and I both regularly smoked in HS and college. She was a double-major in Chemistry and Biology, and has Masters in each, graduating third in her undergrad class at a Big Ten university. I aced the SAT, have a BS and a BA, have a doctorate (not in Education), and finished first in my class in my first undergrad major at a different Big Ten university. Neither of us are "addicts", nor dopes, nor rubber heads.

Yet another reason I’m glad I’m not a teen. As for what I do, mind your own business.
Only the user can convince himself to stop using. You may transmit useful and important information to such a person, but when or whether that information is used by that person is solely up to them.
Also, do not confuse a habit with an addiction. An addiction is a very specific thing, and that thing is not caused by marijuana use.
A habit is far easier to break than an actual addiction, because addictions have serious and sometimes lethal withdrawal symptoms.
Just because someone does not chose to stop smoking doesn’t mean that they can’t, or will suffer greatly if they do, it just means that they do not currently want to.
