Now I understand Seattle better.
I’m sure the insurance companies love to hear this.
Some of those in creative occupations may have benefited their employers.

Different drug, but the concept is the same
Cocaine Decisions - Frank Zappa
Chop a line now. . .
Cocaine decisions . . .
You are a person with a snow-job
You got a fancy gotta go job
Where the cocaine decision that you make today
Will mean that millions somewhere else
Will do it your way
Cocaine decisions . . .
You are a person who is high class
You are a person not in my class
And the cocaine decision that you make today
Will mean nothing later on
When you get nose decay
I don’t wanna know
‘Bout the things that you pull
Outta your nose
Or where they goes
But if you are wasted
From the stuff you’re stickin’ in it
I get madder every day
‘Cause what you do ‘n’ what you say
Affects my life in such a way
I learn to hate it every minute!
Cocaine decisions . . .
You are a doctor or a lawyer
You got an office with a foyer
And the cocaine decisions that you make today
Will not be discovered till it’s over ‘n’ done
By the customers you hold at bay
Cocaine decisions . . .
You are a movie business guy
You got accountants who supply
The necessary figures
To determine when you fly
To Acapulco
Where all your friends go
Cocaine decisions . . .
We must watch the stuff you make
You have let us eat the cake
While your accountants tell you Yes Yes Yes
You make EXPENSIVE UGLINESS
(How do you do it? - let me guess . . .)
Cocaine decisions . . .
Cocaine decisions . . .
Cocaine decisions . . .

“You don’t have to be high to work here, but it certainly helps”. “Anyone who wants a job here is too dumb to work here.” - My former boss.
Traffic fatalities linked to marijuana are up sharply each year since 2013, more than doubling in that time, federal and state data show.
Increasingly potent levels of marijuana were found in positive-testing drivers who died in crashes ... Coroners began seeing a troubling trend last year: Toxicology tests on dead drivers were revealing higher levels of Delta-9 THC.
In Denver, THC levels were reading as high as 24 ng/mL, with one hitting 68, coroner records
State law does not require coroners to test deceased drivers specifically for marijuana use in fatal wrecks some do and some dont and many police agencies say they dont pursue cannabinoid tests of a surviving driver whose blood alcohol level is already high enough to charge them with a crime.
Marijuana is figuring into more fatal crashes overall. In 2013, drivers tested positive for the drug in about 10 percent of all fatal crashes. By 2016, it was 20 percent.
More drivers are testing positive for marijuana and nothing else. Of the drivers involved in fatal crashes in 2014 who tested positive for cannabinoids, more than 52 percent had no alcohol in their system. By 2016, it had grown to 69 percent.

time to start testing and make some openings for non doppers
Maybe one in ten thousand
“50 percent said they would likely be fired if their boss knew they were high at work.”
So 50% think their boss would be OK with coming to work high?
The other half couldn’t remember? Or don’t have jobs?
In the 80’s in NYC the exec’s would have their 2-4 drink lunches and workers would have their joints. I can just imagine how it is today.
Did that song make anybody else think of Teddy?
I think it explains why you have to repeat your order 3 or 4 times at a drive-thru window - they literally cannot process information more than one item at a time.
Self-selected poll results are worthless.
Of course, some of the most breath taking bone headed maneuvers I have ever seen came from people who were, according to the blood tests, perfectly sober. They were just running with brain in neutral.
If you have a low level repetitive desk job it doesn’t make much difference. Back in the 70s I had one such job. Never drove to work high, but the workforce was made up of about 75% twenty somethings and we’d manage to sneak out on a break and smoke a joint maybe one day a week. The stuff wasn’t as strong as now and by the time 4:30pm rolled around I’d be back to normal. Someone always had some Visine, and the boss was none the wiser.
