The Twitter thread tells of their adventures earlier today trying to avoid attacks by an Antifa group by going from one secret location to another. After the conference and as they are leaving, they are attacked by some Antifa people who caught up with them. Short annotated videos document the fight.
I follow several people on Twitter who are involved first-hand on-the-ground in a lot of the stuff going on in Europe. If you want to follow this issue, I suggest starting by following Opinionated European

Antifa. What a bunch of pikers.
Interesting. Thanks for posting this.
Sorry double tapped.
A thought on watching those videos: it is sometimes difficult to tell one side from the other. If we anticipate trouble, we should dress to differentiate our people from theirs. They tend to wear black and red; we should wear white, blue, green, and other colors and patterns.
In many riots, the Antifa thugs distinguish themselves by wearing masks, as in the #120db march today (Sunday) at Speakers Corner. #120db is a women's movement in Europe against sexual violence by Islamic migrants.

Not to mention, the police were dressed in black also. I saw a small “POLICE” patch on one officer...but, in general, they looked line Antifa rowdies.
Antifa does not wear masks to distinguish themselves; they cover their faces to keep their identities secret.
I recall from the “protests” of the 1960’s, in many photo’s of the demonstrations/riots at different times and in different places, one could see the same individuals, again and again. Often, they were the most violent and radical/communist ones.
The Left has learned that anonymity can be a good thing, especially if you intend to break the law.
When I say that Antifa distinguishes themselves by wearing masks, what I mean is that they make it easy for onlookers to distinguish them from the normal people.
Bttt.
