Haley warns US is 'locked and loaded' if Syria uses chemical weapons again
Fox News ^ | April 14, 2018 | Adam Shaw

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley said Saturday that the United States is “locked and loaded” if the Syrian President Bashar Assad’s regime uses chemical gas again in the country.

Haley made the remarks at a fiery meeting of the U.N. Security Council, in which Russia and the U.S. traded barbs over the decision of the U.S., France and the United Kingdom to launch strikes in Syria on Friday in response to the alleged use of chemical weapons last week in Douma.

While the Trump administration has said the strikes are now over, with Trump declaring: “Mission Accomplished!” on Saturday morning, Haley warned that should the Assad regime use such weapons again, strikes could resume.

"I spoke to President Trump this morning and he said if the Syrian regime uses this poisonous gas again, the United States is locked and loaded," she said.

In what may be seen as a jab at former President Barack Obama, who famously drew a red line on chemical weapons use in Syria in 2013 but was accused of failing to follow through, Haley promised that Trump would not waver: “When our president draws a red line, our president enforces the red line."

Drone Assad regardless

OK, and when Assad is gone, what's the alternative? Would Syria be so much better off run by the Muslim Brotherhood or the Al Nusra front?

Assad murders his political enemies. These guys murder people for not being Muslim, or even for being the wrong kind of Muslim. Only idiots like Lindsey Graham and Nimrata Randhawa Haley think of them as "moderates."

Not too many first responders around when chlorine gas is used——it gets them too.

Assad has fed the radicalism, everyone knows that. To stifle real demonstrations for freedom. It’s not 2 choices, Muslim radicals or Muslim radicals, with Assad’s allies being Iran and Hezbollah.

I fail to see why one means of killing people, be they ccombatants or not, is so much worse than any other.

On a prior post you said Haley was stupid? Wow!

Trump does, and he’s president.

Because of Nikki Haley's total lack of empathy for southern traditions, history, and culture, I was surprised that President Trump chose her. Some said it was to get her out of the Governor position. I suspect it's because she's articulate, appears very Americanized, and is bi-cultural.

I just don't like her. There's something so cold and disengaged about her when she's giving her Masters of War spin on things.

Thanks for the info. The Russian trolls are everywhere..all over the Brit and Euro news. Folks blame Soros for so much but I’d bet Putin is behind a lot of the propaganda too.

Look at the number of people blasting Haley when she is relaying the views of the President. Reality doesn’t even register - just what they believe should be true to push a narrative only rather than caring what reality is...like the Left.

My screen name has a Russian flavor to it, but I am not a Russkie.

I drink water and am concerned about my precious bodily fluids unlike those vodka drinking Russians.

I’m with you General Ripper.

Yep - add the Russian’s bluster and series of lies and the fact that the UN Security Council refused to cede to Russia with a condemnation of our strike and you’d think maybe some of the “oh-so-concerned” might have a moment of clarity....

Obviously you have never breathed in evaporating liquid chlorine. I have. I’d rather be shot or blown up then die from chlorine.

Nimrata is also extremely shrill, self-righteous (hence her campaign against Confederate history), and fully committed to multiculturalism and globalism. Her repulsive personality combined with her support for the McCain-Graham wing of the GOP makes her by far Trump's worst pick.

Trump should be aware of who his UN Ambassador pals around with.

Maybe he is getting a picture.

Nimrata Randhawa has a big fanbase here for some absurd reason - you have some posters saying that she should be America’s first female President. If you want amnesty for illegal immigrants, US intervention in every tribal/sectarian war in every third world country, and a ban on Confederate (and other politically incorrect) symbols, Nimrata’s your girl. Think of her as a more tanned and butch Lindsey Graham.

She is totally up Foam Boy’s arse too. I was surprised Trump picked her. I figured he did because she is so obnoxious that it was a way to get back at the UN. Hah

Saw that, thanks...if Trump were smart he’d downgrade the UN Ambassador from a cabinet position and make her report to the Sec. of State.
