A truth that’s told with bad intent, beats all the lies you can invent.
Willam Blake

So this event is an ‘omen of innocence’ for President Trump.

Hillary’s law license was suspended in 2002 for failing to meet the continuing education requirements. She is no longer a lawyer.

>> “Barely a lawyer”. That’s like being “barely” pregnant. You are ether are or your not <<

True enough. Once a lawyer, always a lawyer — even if disbarred.

But the same cannot be said of a lawyer’s status as an “attorney-at-law.”

That is, being an “attorney” is not exactly the same as being a lawyer.

To wit,

A lawyer who partners with a businessman to invest mutually in a piece of property is not acting at all points as an “attorney” in the transaction. So certain papers and discussions related to the investment would not be covered by “attorney-client” privilege.

Happens all the time.

Likewise, even though my CPA has a J.D. degree and a valid law license, my discussions with him regarding the routine preparation of my tax return are not covered by attorney-client privilege because during those discussions, he is acting in his capacity as a CPA, rather than as an attorney.

Kimba Wood was also play boy bunny, how interesting!

“Kimba Wood: When Bill Clinton nominated her as his attorney general in 1993, the federal judge's five-day training stint at the London Playboy Club became an issue.”

Disagree. Hilary is still a lawyer. But she is no longer an “attorney-at-law.”

If I was a lawyer and had DJT as a single client, I would have all the work I need. And I’m sure it pays very well.

Hazards of jumping to conclusions. Politically-charged grand juries become known because witnesses are not bound to secrecy, if not from outright leaks. Because a GJ is empaneled and investigates does not mean official charges will be made. Allegations dropped or no indictment bills can be for a variety of reasons.

Since when do the Feds get to make a statement like that without some sort of Legal or Bar proceeding? If Cohen is a memeber of the Bar, it really is immaterial how many clients he has. In the upper echelons of the legal community I would imagine that there are quite a number of lawyers who only have a single individual or corporation as a client.

What crap. Lot’s of lawyers only have one client, including in-house corporate counsel, government lawyers, non-profit lawyers, etc. Of course he is an attorney. Trump does not seek his services for fashion advice. Even matters like dealing with former mistresses requires an attorney due to the many legal issues that are involved. They are just looking for a phony excuse to side-step attorney-client privilege. Having one client does not mean a person is not a lawyer and there is no requirement you have more than one client to be a lawyer. I have a license on the wall and have read all ethical rules and that is BS.

Feds: Michael Cohen is barely even a lawyer

1) Is he licensed to practice law?

2) Is Donald Trump his client?

IIF((Condition1 AND Condition2), LAWYER=true, LAWYER=false);

Why do never Trumpers persist in criticizing everything about this President? I’m sure if u were subjected to the same rectal exam that the President is going thru, u would turn up with a few losers in your line of friends as well.
