GOP congressman: 'Most of the public' doubts Assad used chemical gas
Washington Examiner ^ | April 13, 2018

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., says he believes a majority of the public doubts the official U.S. government contention that Syrian President Bashar Assad used chemical gas against the final rebel-held town near Damascus.

“Anybody who has tried to explain to me why Assad would do this sounds like a conspiracy theorist,” said Massie, a libertarian Republican from Kentucky. “It requires really contorted thinking to think Assad did this. You have to come up with very complicated reasons.”

“I cannot think of a reason he would,” Massie said.

>“...a majority of the public doubts...”

Sure, and so do I; but as we hit the places that manufacture chemicals, and explicitly stayed away from interference in the Syrian civil war or picking sides, this strike impedes whomever staged this.

So it really was John McCain, Egg McMuffin and Lindsey Graham’s friends over there who did it!

Who used the gas?

Show us the proof.

It’s not as if our own intelligence bureaucrats have never been caught lying before.

Under oath.

To congress and the nation.

and let’s not forget- we have troops on the ground in syria and assad is using chemical warfare where our troops can be hit as well? He’s endangering and killing his own people but also endangering our soldiers-

Can’t get the House to do much of anything for the nation, but they are sure able to provide the sound-bites for Leftist propaganda.

Don’t expect a third-worlder to hold the same logic, reasoning power or world-view as a first-worlder. Assad’s country is in tatters and his wife is buying $7,000 shoes. Assad gets rid of more of his poor, and his wife can buy more shoes. It works for them - because there’s no one to challenge his power. Seems crazy to us.

Erdogen.... Trump should not announce attacks on him at all. How is that the business of the US or in our countries best interest?

Let get our country fixed first.
School system since the department of education. Us ranking went from the top 3 to the mid 30’s.
Us governments war on God... Unwed mothers, fatherless homes, divorce is normal/common, family unit is destroyed. The results, please see Detroit or Chicago.
War on poverty: government dependence is through the roof, destroying the pride of the worker. Won’t go into personal responsibility.
War on Drugs: We never had one for a hundred plus years. People knew or learned to not do or take things. They where also taught responsibility.

So many things and places that I could go with the fundamental fabric of our country being screwed up. Yet we need to invade another country? That will do it....

Elites everywhere live like potentates of old. While the Ukrainian peasants starved to death by the millions, Stalin and his henchmen gorged on the finest food. It doesn't look that the North Korean dictator misses many meals, irrespective of his malnourished countrymen.

Assad has at least two clear reasons to use gas: to win, by further terrorizing his domestic opponents; and to provide himself and his friends in Russia, Turkey, Iran, China, and North Korea with a test of the mettle of the new administration. After eight years of Obama’s bluster and retreat, Trump has them baffled by his combination of military buildup and a strong but mercurial persona that can spin from good cop to bad cop and back in an afternoon.

I am weary of the cesspool that is the Middle East and the wars! If the gas attack was globalist rogue CIA? I would be more enthusiastic to get rid of our country’s traitors! I need more information as to the purpose of our attack, I don’t believe it’s from a long ago memory of WWI. I am bummed that the IG’s report is rescheduled for May. Sick that Obama, Hillary, Lynch and all the traitors are still free, writing books, doing interviews on TV and taking trips! I think their crimes against our country are worse than Assad attacks on terrorists! Truly, and not one is in jail! Not one.

Show us the proof.

Who cares? Libya is a great example case. Bomb them a little and they cooperate, whether or not they did anything. Reagan knew that, Trump knows that. Bomb them for months and you get a failed state, terrorism and an invasion of Europe. Trump knows that also.

So what? Trump is not a CIA puppet. He will have to do what needs to be done whether it is a false flag or not. It doesn't really matter.

As for the rest of those rogues, they are not in the way of MAGA. They can be dealt with later or never, doesn't matter either.

I doubt Assad did. But ISIS or even Erdogan could have carried out that attack.
