A Bank of America executive announced Tuesday that the bank will stop lending money to companies that manufacture "military-style" rifles that are available for civilians to purchase.

Anne Finucane, Bank of America’s vice chair, told Bloomberg TV that the bank doesn’t want to “underwrite or finance military-style firearms” and has told a number of gun manufacturers that it will no longer do business with them.

The bank has lended to the gun makers Vista Outdoor, Remington and Sturm Ruger, CNBC reported.

So they won't be lending any money for production of actual military weapons? Hopefully this will be another nail in their coffin. Anyone have the funds to open "THE 2nd Amendment Bank of the United States."? Where the hell is our bloombert/steyr/soros? Also, are the no proof readers/editors anymore? "The bank has LENDED to......" journalists. Awesome huh?

Bank of America is the only bank in the country....if you don’t count the thousands of other ones.

You can’t, as a bank, deny legal corporations banking services.

This is outrageous and BOA should be shut down and sold off.

Texas and a bunch of other states need to step up to the plate and tell them they drop the restrictive policies or they get no license to bank there.

And remember a sawed off shotgun is likely more lethal than a military style semi automatic.

Trump should issue an executive order that excludes any banks refusing to do service with legitimate arms companies to receive government aid or government business.

Banks are definately instigators in the anti-2A movement. My bank would not take my concealed carry as a form of ID (it also happened in CHASE drive through). When this happened I started talking very loud and discussing historical events from the Founding of the USA-to the Killing Fields of Cambodia-to Venezuelans eating flamingos until the bank manager promptly accepted my concealed carry ID (can be used to vote) to help speed up my transaction.
I told them they would lose three accounts very fast if they did not shut down this stupid attack on 2A.

If you have a concealed carry ID and banks balk and they refuse to let u access your own cash...well....you get the idea. BE CREATIVE!!!

Citi and now BofA. It won't be long before the others follow suit. This is how you ban guns without ever passing a law.

It's time for Congress to act.

I am on the phone now with BofA right now. Told them to fire Finucane or all my $$$ will be removed. Call 1-800-432-1000. They are taking complaints about this seriously. Demand they rescind their policy and that they fire Finucane. Get a customer rep they will take your complaint.

It will be a pain in the butt with my auto-pays, but this is it for me with BofA.

Anyone know which banks still support the rights of Americans?
