Backers of Question 1, which mandated background checks on private-party gun sales, have spent the past 15 months complaining that state officials have failed to implement the initiative. Theyve pointed fingers at everyone involved except the guilty party themselves.
A recent letter from Gov. Brian Sandovals office confirmed this yet again.
Last week, Gov. Sandovals office sent FBI officials a letter thanking them for agreeing to discuss implementing Question 1, which voters narrowly approved in November 2016. The initiative required private-party gun buyers to obtain an FBI background check. After that election, Gov. Sandovals office asked then-President Barack Obamas FBI to conduct the background checks.

The multiple signs in the photo with the original article overlook an inconvenient fact that “Nevadans have spoken” but it was really only “Clark County Nevadans have spoken” as regards how the vote looked by county.
Tyranny.
—and the only reason it passed in Clark County was the busloads of Spanish-speakers bused to the voting by the Culinary Workers Union and the SEIU—( the Harry Reid machine)
Suppose, just suppose, the FBI agreed to do these background checks. How do you enforce it? Currently, the checks are enforced by the gun dealer who has to match checks to sales. In the case of a private sale, there is no paperwork trail. How would a private parties document the background check? (Short of universal gun registration?)
NICS is an unmitigated disaster that’s marginally operational. In other words, it’s fine like it is. Leave it alone!!
Does this mean that similar laws in Colorado are void?
Nevadans have spoken but it was really only Clark County.........
Thereby, only a “partial lie” by the fake media.
“Thereby, only a partial lie...”
I don’t recall that line working when caught by my parents. They were binary before it was a “thing” - yes/no, on/off, right/wrong, etc.
Sounds to me like a giant sting operation. Buy from or sell a gun to someone you don't know well, or someone you know well but has a warrant hanging over him--bingo! there goes your gun "privileges".
