When former U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Paul Stevens called for repeal of the Second Amendment in a New York Times op-ed last week, Democratic Party officials largely laid low.
But the vice chairman for civic engagement and voter protection for the Democratic National Committee issued a tweet urging “Repeal the Second Amendment,” with a link to Stevens’ op-ed:

A real repeal will require a Constitutional Amendment. Good luck with requiring 2/3 majority vote in both houses of Congress and approval by 38 state legislatures.

You don’t need repeal. You just need five Justices to say it doesn’t confer an individual right to keep and bear arms, that it only covers the “militia”, i.e. police and military. That’s why the courts are so important.
May as well remove the part where it says you must be 18/21 to possess firearms unless your in the US military and you have to have a permit issued by your local government in order to carry a firearm concealed. Details huh. Yeah, I realize it’s just the same as getting a drivers license which is also called for in the BOR. /s

Now they have lost any the last shred of credibility they may have had when they claim that “no one wants to take away your guns”.
Retarded Justice Stevens could reasonably be claimed to have no say in current democrat policy-making, and even Dianne Fineswines previous comments were subject to nuance.
This, however, is an unequivocal admission that the democrats, as a political party, want to take away our guns.
