The video showed the shooting started while he was facing the officers, then he pivoted to his left and went down on his stomach while the officers continued to shoot. The shots to the back likely hit in the latter stage when he was in a prone position and the officers were still standing firing downward 30 degrees or so.
I also know that there was one body, with a specific number of bullet holes in it, and that the clams of the family coroner could be too easily dis-proven for them to make false claims. There is a county autopsy, let's see if it supports the family autopsy or disproves it.
So there is no evidence their safety was at risk?
It seems pretty clear at this point that Clark was they guy walking down the street smashing car windows with a crowbar, the reason the police were called to the scene in the first place.
Like that, yes. There have been too many instances where police shoot first, shoot again, shoot yet again, then stop and think if there was anything to be shooting about.
Should we trust them?
How about we trust them as much as they trust us?
Who doesn't run if you're being shot at, by police or anyone?
Look, I’m not saying he “deserved it”, or that the cops are in the right here, BUT if he didn’t run from the police, he wouldn’t be DEAD!
Oh well heck, what more justification did the police need? Nothing more threatening to the safety of the officer than someone running in the other direction.
What I want to know is what this guy’s criminal record looks like. Do you suppose anyone in the media could find that out?
Oh they're not as bad as some. There was that case in Cleveland not long ago where police fired 137 rounds at two unarmed suspects in a car and hit them a total of 47 times. That's 34%. At least this time the cops hit him with 40% of their shots.
Bull. He was unarmed. He posed no threat to the police officers. He was fleeing so he posed even less a threat. They shot him anyway.
And Clark had a criminal history, four cases in four years that included charges of robbery, pimping, and domestic abuse. Sacramento County court files show he pleaded no contest to reduced charges, spent time on a sheriff’s work detail and was on probation for the 2014 robbery when he was killed.
At 22 years of age, which means every year since he was a juvenile. Why would they think he might be breaking into cars, since he was on probation for robbery?

If you listen to the whole audio you can hear the stress the officers were undergoing. Immediately after the shooting stops one officer asks the other if he was okay. They were still trying to get the suspect to let go of his “weapon”. Remember it was dark. They didn’t know what he had in his hands. BLM could do a lot to help young black males by teaching them not to resist arrest (or better yet quit committing criminal acts). They won’t be happy until we let black men commit crimes with no consequences. Everyone is afraid of talking about the elephant in the room but who is really suffering from the silence? The black community.
I have no idea what the facts are here. The word “mostly” was added for some reason.

The most “rational” response I’ve received for complaining many times here that “conservatives” are quick to believe anything Big Media publishes verbatim as long as long as it’s not DIRECTLY related to politics was along the lines of:
“Well, the facts (sic) seem to support the headline, so I’m going to take this at face value until I see evidence to believe otherwise.”

Not really. It means the officers thought they saw a gun, started to shoot, and then he ran away.
If the guy had surrendered to begin with and not run, he’d be alive today...
A cascade of poor choices by below-average intellects, ending in an unnecessary death. It shouldn’t happen but it does.
Police work can benefit tremendously from the advances in robotics and Machine Intelligence. In a decade or so, these foot pursuits need not involve armed cops jacked up on adrenaline. They could have a version of the Cheetah designed to catch up to a fleeing suspect and capture him with a net dispenser or tazer or beanbag round.
Same applies to barricaded subjects. Send in one or more unarmed capture-bots, and everyone has a better chance of living another day.
There are other high-adrenaline moments for cops when approaching certain stopped vehicles. Have the robot make the initial approach, look inside the vehicle and identify and disarm occupants if necessary. It need not be armed, it is expendable.
Ok, next time a cop asks you to stop, just take off running.

Obey the law.
Use common sense.
Stop immediately.
Turn that s... off.

Don’t ride with a mad woman.
If you follow these simple pointers, you probably won’t get your ass kicked by the police.
This case is the same as the other manufactured outrages where the media lie, distort and omit, purposely.

Watch the helicopter video linked at YouTube above. It shows he was running through backyards, hopped a fence to his house, initially the side yard. The cops would have had no idea that was his house (his grandmother’s house). The claim that the cops simply walked in to a guy’s backyard and shot him is perhaps the biggest distortion/lie.
The cops can be seen coming down the street as he is in the side yard. It was here that they first told him to surrender and he then ran.
It shows when cops encountered him in the side yard and told him to surrender/show his hands, he ran to the back, around the corner of the house. When cops pursued he was almost 180 degrees from where he’d been, now at the corner of the opposite side yard and backyard.
Cops were taking cover at the opposite corner.
The video shows he moved back toward to police and this is when he was shot.
Bullets can be seen. He was shot and went down. Continued bullets would have shot him in the back and side.
