No, this is about the applications to the FISA court, so presumably it is about Carter Page. At least he is the one who keeps coming up in reference to FISA surveillance. Once they had the FISA surveillance warrant on him it (supposedly) allowed surveillance on everyone who had any contact with him (because they used the espionage provision). So it is a s##tstorm of illegality relating to surveillance of potentially many in the Trump world.
Not confident that handing everything off to the DOJ’s IG will result in a thorough investigation of the wrongs that had been committed in the DOJ and FBI in recent years.
We need the right special counsel in addition to whatever might be underway now.

She would have had nothing to do with FISA procedures. It is someone in the FBI or CIA.
I thought this was announced a couple of weeks ago.
We don’t need a special prosecutor. We nee Jeff Sessions to put on his big boy pants, find his balls in whatever jar he left them and start using using honest to God DoJ prosecutors who are not political hacks assuming his department has any. If he cannot find anyone in house who can fit the bill then he needs to buy a ream of pink paper and start printing termination slips.
The IG investigation will take another year plus. During this time felons walk free and continue their criminality, congressional investigations will be stymied because they might compromise the “investigation” and Sessions will sleep as Rosenweasel stonewalls. More than likely Pelosi will become speaker as well. Same old same old!
The rat bastard, Jeff Sessions, should have given out pink slips to every Hillary voter in the DOJ when he first got the job. All 97% of them.
But he recused himself instead and handed over the DOJ keys to the deep-state conspirators rosenstein and mueller.
