Unless you’re already a felon, regular citizens can own and wear body armor.

Good doggie!
Maybe he knows the propane tank guy who rammed an entrance gate.
Either way, we will “never know” his motive...

Must be one of those “shanty” Irish.

Chicago has different rules regarding body armor. And, it had NYPD patches on it. And a bomb sniffing dog hit on him.

Malailua, from Redding, California stole SWAT team equipment from a New York City police
arrested at Chicago's busiest train station.
So he went from one side of the country to the other and then halfway back again in order to kill a bunch of people trapped on a train, AND THEY LET HIM GO! Incredible!
But also good police work to find him in Chicago.

And this story comes to us from the... Daily Mail.

Since when does a terrorist get “let out “ for 100K and “ordered to stay in the area”?
And if he isn’t a terrorist-then there are NO terrorists anywhere!!
Somebody needs to lock-up the so-called judge...and mebbe even check to see which local mosque he may be part of-sheesh.

Unless youre already a felon, regular citizens can own and wear body armor. I was wondering about that but it makes it even more ridiculous that they let him go.
He's probably got multiple fake IDs, plenty of CASH, and is in IRAN by now, or some other s***hole.

From the article
“Illinois state law bans anyone possessing body armor if they don’t have a state firearm owner’s ID card.”
