The Christian satire site Babylon Bee has been fact-checked by Snopes and threatened by Facebook after it published an Onion-style article about CNN about purchasing a washing machine to spin the news. The Babylon Bee openly advertises itself as a satire site. Recent headlines include, Local Pastor Hoping Curling Metaphors Go Over Big This Sunday, Nation That Calls Trump Hitler Demands He Take All Guns Away, Calvinist Dog Corrects Owner: No One Is A Good Boy, and New Exercise Bike Forces You To Watch Christian Movies Until You Hit Your Calories Goal.
Not only is this fairly anodyne stuff, but as you can see, the Babylon Bee is more than willing to satirize their own among the Faithful.
Naturally, none of this matters to our left-wing tech overlords, who are becoming increasingly desperate to censor free speech coming from conservatives, Christians, and the like.
This time, in order to protect the far-left CNN from ridicule, Snopes and Facebook worked in tandem to teach the Babylon Bee (and all of us) a lesson about mocking your betters.
It all started with a Babylon Bee headline that read, CNN Purchases Industrial-Sized Washing Machine to Spin News Before Publication, and a few paragraphs of satire that are more goofy than biting

They censor harmless satire from the Right while they do nothing about outright calls from the Left for the assassination of President Trump.
I don’t understand how any of this is legal? Federal government through the courts should shut down Google, youtube, Twitter, and Facebook. Allow any affected party to use them into oblivion.
Those are some funny headlines.
We sure are lucky to have Snopes looking out for us.
I mean how many of us would even be thinking that a satire piece might possibly be false?
But there’s good ol’ Snopes coming to our rescue, and doing so with a straight face. How many could’ve done THAT?
Most CNN viewers aren’t capable of detecting satire.
Facebook buries Babylon Bee content too...it never comes up in your feed
Yeah, right!

Why can’t conservatives create a facebook clone that is for conservatives or at least for freedom of speech?
Ditto for ,google, youtube , twitter, clones ?
Just one lone knowledgeable coder can do this. I know this is true because I’m a coder.
Calvinist Dog Corrects Owner: No One Is A Good Boy,
These sites (FB and Google) are to into everything and too big to not have to be restricted by something. I don’t get how they are running the entire internet even sites that have nothing to do with them. Monopoly.
It is callee steemit and is run by blockchain coders
The future is in peer to peer social media blockchain verification of authenticity of article picked out of a server
Zuckerberg is a socialist politically. What an idiot he doesn't realize the free market got him to where he is.
ditto for Oprah and the rest of the silicon valley liberals.
To me, this sounds an awful lot like Free Enterprise at work.
If you don't like FB's policies, don't post there. It's as simple as that.
Agree good point.
I’ll get on that . Thanks for the reminder !
decentralized apps, peer to peer is our only hope. I’m a coder or programmer. it’s not just blockchain but others like DAG,Hasgraph tech etc.
Someone may even create a tech better than blockchain. I’m on it right now.
Nation That Calls Trump Hitler Demands He Take All Guns Away
That’s the difference between Calvinists and Sorosites. Calvinists have a sense of humor.
Communists and sociopaths have no sense of humor.
Babylon Bee is hilarious.
“...should shut down Google, youtube, Twitter, and Facebook.”
I’m waiting for the Feds to break them up, like they did to Ma Bell. Oh, and throw Amazon in, too.
