Trump is not anti gun. He dupes the democrats into looking bad. He played them with immigration and dreamers. He tells them he’s willing to negotiate then they blow it, because they don’t want to work with him.

Then he throws a hand grenade at them with a new condition.

By then, all the moderates have stopped paying attention.

I love winning with this man more every day.

I’m far from ready to throw President Trump under the bus over what’s been said up to this point.

I am not doing that yet, either. I am just making it clear where I stand. Once the Rubicon is crossed, there is no going back.

How come everybody didn't go nuts over Trump sitting next to Feinstein yesterday.

Plenty of us did.

Calling him out on an issue is not throwing him under a bus. My mama killed a willow tree pulling switches off it but she didn't throw me out of our home.

Newt is a loose cannon that can, too often, say the wrong things at the wrong time.

True - but look at what the President is. :)

Maybe Ka-Sick, the mailman’s son will run again.
I’d love to see Trump crush him.

Yep, I believe the mailmans son is obsessed with POTUS and wouldn’t be surprised if he runs and gets steamrolled.

How is he going to run WHEN he gets indicted or impeached?

I agree.

Trump has exceptional skills at getting himself elected.

I will vote for him in 2020, but only because he is the most Conservative candidate who has a chance to be elected.

Gingrich: “President Trump is building a new Republican Party...”

I agree, but, tragically, Trump is doing it by moving the GOP even further to the Left than Bush One and Bush Two did.

Since 80% of new immigrant citizens vote for the Democrat Party, Trump's immigration policies are politically insane.

And yesterday, Trump publicly attacked the NRA.

And, Trump has borrowed and spent more money in the first four months of Fiscal 2018 than Obama borrowed and spent in the same four months of Fiscal 2017 - and that's BEFORE Trump has spent one dime on his infrastructure stimulus.

Bottom Line - Republicans are committing political suicide, and America is committing economic suicide.

Re: “HE [Newt Gingrich] BALANCED THE FEDERAL BUDGET!!!!!

Wishful thinking.

Gingrich and Bill Clinton “balanced” the budget by spending ALL of the money that allegedly goes into the Social Security Trust Fund.

If CEOs “balanced” their corporate budgets that way, they would go to jail.

The President is outflanking Democrats by daring them to show they’re more than just talk.

So far all they all they do is bash the NRA. And he told them, if that’s your only problem, you have political cover from me.

Just like with DACA, they won’t take him up on his offer. The American people can see who is serious about draining the swamp and who wants to do nothing.

Wrong, try again?

100% of the assets in the Social Security Trust Fund are special U.S. Treasury debt securities.

Since the beginning of Social Security, the IRS deposits FICA cash in the Trust Fund, and the Treasury borrows - and spends - 100% of any surplus.

When the Trust Fund goes bust next decade, promised Social Security payments will drop by at least one third, or, the Treasury will have to issue trillions of dollars of new public debt to pay the difference.

I repeat - any corporate CEO who did that would go to jail, and his company would probably go bankrupt.

what does that have to do with Gingrich balancing the budget?

Those rules existed before, and existed after him.

And he still balanced it when no one else seems capable of it

Re: “what does that have to do with Gingrich balancing the budget?”

Everything.

The surplus of FICA revenues in any given year are supposed to be “invested” for the benefit of workers after they retire.

Instead, Clinton and Gingrich spent that money like it was normal tax revenue, and then wrote an I.O.U. to the Trust Fund.

Do you have a personal 401k retirement account?

If you saved $100 a week in your 401k, but then “loaned” yourself $100 each week, how much money would you have in your 401k when you retire?

Zero money! I mean, what are you going to do, pay back your “loan” to yourself after you retire? Of course not. You already spent the money. It's gone.

That's exactly what Clinton and Gingrich did.

They did not invest the money you paid into Social Security. They spent it. Then, they (and apparently you) claimed they balanced the budget.

In the real world, that's called a Ponzi scheme, and you go to jail for it.

ARE YOU DENSE?

Gingrich did not CREATE that in order to balance the budget.

That’s was happening long before him.
