Second, President Trumps has pulled rabbits out of the hat enough for me to give him the benefit of the doubt. Right now he is messing with the left and the media (same thing).
If a gun law is passed (leading up to the off year election) and if President Trump signs it, I will reconsider my support. Right now I think he is just getting into the head of the left.

Pres Trump should immediately hire a bunch of spies from other countries, Britain, France, Israel, to begin assembling dossiers on the potential Democrap candidates: Biden, Harris. Pocahontas, Hillary, ...
Then nominate five or six favorable judges to the FISA Court, then use those fictitious dossiers to obtain FISA warrants on all of them.
Then begin wiretapping, surveillance, etc. on all of them and leak the damaging information to Sean Hannity.

Very thankful he made this decision this early. And, no, that he has announced another run does offer surprise (a good surprise).
It was felt once in office faced with the challenges and number of adversaries he would go another path come re-election time. If, he had cleaned out the swamp in a more timely manner, we might have seen him waving ‘good bye’. Knowing his job is not yet done, he asks for an opportunity to finish what has begun. IF he is unable to finish this, our political system will forever be changed - for the worse - possibly TYRANNY.
GOD be with you, Mr. President. And may He open the eyes of our population that they might see the truths around them.

Not nearly as brilliant as his sudden anti 2A stance. No amount of “brilliant” will negate the damage from that. Especially if he follows through on recent statements.
I understand the realities of politics and don’t expect 100% agreement with Trump or anyone else.
But when it comes to our gun rights, I am a one issue voter. No compromise, no forgiveness.
The few remaining liberties that government hasn’t abrogated are being held onto tenuously only because DC fears and respects an armed citizenry. If we allow ourselves to be disarmed, the DC assault on liberty will be breath taking. Legislative show & awe followed by a despotism un-imagined by most people.
