Cruz couldn't purchase the gun he used in Parkland from Dicks because they stopped selling that style of weapon back in 2012, after the Sandy Hook school shooting.
Today's announcement only affects a few more specialty stores they operate under a different brand name. We'll see whether it was a good business decision going forward.
Considering how close they came to selling Cruz his murder weapon, I'd say yes it was.

Uh, didn't we already go through this with "dicks" before? Yes. They've been on my "do not darken their door" list for ages.

Yeah, someone correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the pantywaists at DICK’S announced this in the light of some other lunatic behavior.
I wonder if baseball bat beatings become the rage if DICK’S will stop selling those too.
Garbage thinking. Hope they fail.

....and then, never go back again anyway.

Maybe trying to draw in anti gun consumers? Getting pretty fed up with this whole deal. Any other case the blame goes to the perp. Only with firearms is the perp an inanimate object. 😡🍿🍻🇺🇸
