Yup, beginning to sound like a propane type explosion. I never saw the use of gas whilst there, but then again, I wasn’t cooking in a restaurant. The wife insists on gas due to it’s more precise heat control.

i spent time in Leicester in the early 90’s, it already had a Muslim population. I loved the city, thought it was a terrific downtown and the Pakistani’s living there were very friendly to me, an American Jew.
I hope this is just a gas leak type explosion.
How sad....I lived in Leicester in the late 50s-early 60s.....my Dad was AF and we were stationed at RAF Bruntingthorp.....about an hour from RAF Alconbury.....great memories.....
