A report released Friday claims four of Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel’s deputies waited outside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School while the attack was occurring. On February 22 Breitbart News reported that one deputy resigned after it was learned that he was on scene but failed to control Nikolas Cruz. Sheriff Israel told ABC 13 that video shows the deputy, Scott Peterson, “arrive at the west side of Building 12” and “take a position” outside the school — but never go inside. The sheriff’s office moved to suspend Peterson, who resigned before the suspension could take place.
Now CNN reports that the Coral Springs police officers claim three other Broward County deputies were outside the school but failed to go inside as well. They quote “Coral Springs sources” who said the three “deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles” when Coral Springs officers arrived. They said “not one of [the deputies] had gone into the school.”

The main tragedy is that both the shooter and the first responder walked out alive.
One or both of them should have died inside the building. If the shooter died the deputy is a hero. If the deputy died the shooter is a cop killer and would have not lived to see the light of day 5 minutes after the next police officers got inside the building.

Almost too perfect...especially since they were SO ready with organized marches, town halls, and demands. It's like they knew it was coming.
Gibberish. This isn't a systemic problem. It is a failure of one or four trained, paid police officers to do their job. If you include armed security personnel as being part of making the target as hard as possible, then you assume the security personnel will do their job like the DC Capitol police did during the Scalise shooting.
There is no excuse for the four law enforcement officers who were derelict in their duty. Systems don't overcome cowardice.
They came fully prepared with the one that wants to Hog the spotlight against guns only.

Ask any mother, father, brother, sister, uncle or aunt what they would do had they been where those deputies were...armed or not.

Like I said, pure speculation ... and I want to heavily caveat it as such. It just makes sense ... these school shootings seem to happen at the most damnably convenient (for the left) times. Like they were planned and orchestrated.
