True, if they can get away with undermining, spying and cheating against a Presidential candidate and his campaign this way then it is game over. We’re done.

That is very damaging for public perception, and practically ensures that future elections will feature candidates on ALL sides claiming they will “drain the swamp”. Enough American voters were tired of the swamp to elect Trump, both main parties may as well close up shop if they support this nonsense. Bernie shared the same appeal as Trump, albeit with different political groups; both openly stated the system was rigged, and the lack of any prosecution from this vindicates both of them.
I’ll bet it is “our system is over”, because no one will go to jail. At least none of those that should.
