I was on 160 Roxys and didn’t feel anything.

Just stopped taking them after a month

This was over 10 years ago and someone told me that I could get 1500 dollars for my five dollar bottle.

But I don’t deal in selling death. Nor was I fond of the idea of going to prison.

The company that makes oxycontin made a huge settlement for lying about its addictive effects.

I am on klonopin for seizures from head injury, and I AM addicted to that. 4mgs a day and get sick as a dog after 24 hours without taking it.

So 150mg roxys stopped cold turkey, no problem.

Klonopin, I’d be in the ER in 3 days without it.

Go figure.

The reason that you can’t go without your Klonopin is because Klonopin is a Benzo and Benzos are extremely addictive.

I am prescribed Xanax (another Benzo) for severe anxiety, panic attacks and racing thoughts. It also helps with suicidal thoughts. Like you, I can not miss a dose or I will become ill and suffer extreme panic. That is normal when you become dependent on Benzos. It doesn’t take long to become physically addicted to them.

A few months after I started Xanax, I ran out early because my dosage was too low and I had to take more to make up for it. A few nights later, I was lying in bed hearing voices and experiencing severe hallucinations. It got so bad that I was ready to grab the gun in the next room and end it. Luckily, I remembered that a close relative took Xanax.

I called her and explained my predicament. She came with some Xanax and a few of her husband’s Klonopin. She saved my life. I got my doctor to up my dosage so that wouldn’t happen again.

The reason I told you that story was to emphasize that you NEVER go cold turkey from Benzos. Benzo withdrawal can cause seizures and, in extreme cases, death. That is why you feel so bad when you miss a dose of Klonopin.

Don’t get me wrong, Benzos can be wonderful. Especially in your case, for seizure prevention.

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to let you know why you feel so bad when you miss your Klonopin dose.

Klonopin 1 mg is a drug reaction in 2 pills for me. Were as 10mg Valium just releaves the Spinal Degenerative Perpherial Neuropathy pain.

Take it away and I go into Hyper Tension, with an Enlarged Heart with sm. Mitral valve leak can’t risk it. Cardzim 30 mg was a ER trip. I’m the side effect Queen at the Pharmancy, a doctors night mare to treat.

When I had thumb surgery last March I got 14 7.5 Mg NORCO NO refills. Now it’s down to 3 for minor and 5 for major surgery for home. And a lot of Major surgeries have become same day ones like my thumb surgery was. Ice packs and Tylenol handled the pain, it was Rehab that was more painful so I eked them out for that which was 13 weeks of torture.
