I can’t believe I volunteered for his campaign and cried tears of joy when he was sworn in the first time. He sure had me fooled.
Your list and mine have two bad presidents in common: Wilson and Obama. My list also has LBJ and George W. Bush.
LBJ for his mishandling of Vietnam, and George W. Bush for his failure to stamp out radical Islam. While Vietnam was certainly a tragedy, W’s failure in regards to Islam will haunt the West for decades - and maybe centuries - to come.
As to number 5 on my list, I’m still trying to decide between Buchanan and FDR. Buchanan’s bumbling helped bring on the Civil War, but perhaps that was inevitable.
FDR expanded the socialist welfare state, but IMHO he was the right man at the right place during the early days of WW II.

In 2000, we had good reason to think that former Governor of Texas George W Bush might well turn out to be a good President. I voted FOR him in that election. He turned out to be a disappointment. I voted AGAINST Kerry in 2004. His entire Presidency was a downhill slide, and he has been a worse ex-President.
