Why does he need to “request” them. Just get the damn things already.

It isn’t long division.

I’m happy it is being done now though. The enemedia is off permanently off balance. They have to fight the Nunes memo, the communications between Page and Strzok, and now the 99 page opinion. They can’t stop for a coordinated attack for long before another front opens.

I can only guess at this. The 99 page opinion has been out there for a while not. But the documentation which was submitted for a Title 1 surveillance is not yet accessible or available. To me, this really does cut to the chase!

The problem is no one seems to know who has oversight
over FISA court judges, if oversight exists at all.
It’s a black hole.

Of course, I haven't already read all the long documents linked in the CT site. From what's been said for weeks now, apparently the October 21, 2016 FISA warrant application was approved, but this makes it sound as if there was serious criticism from the judge.

But am I correct in assuming that this criticism was related to an October warrant application that was approved?

To the best of my knowledge, the 99 page opinion was critical of the FISC Title 1 warrant and the abuses resulting from it.
