Many people in the media have jointly arrived at the same talking point. They say that criticizing the bad actions of specific people at the top ranks of a law enforcement agency mean youre at war with all law enforcement.
Politicos headline for this talking point was Trump escalates his war with U.S. law enforcement after memo release. Once the party of law and order, Republicans are now challenging it, said the Washington Post. The New York Times went with The Presidents Unparalleled War on Law Enforcement.

The top levels of DOJ and FBI are corrupt.
Has Sessions recused himself from cleaning both agencies up?
Dems hated the police
Sessions, should be replaced..Does he have something to hide, he sure acts like it..It is past time to go after these criminals and he isn’t doing it so get rid of him..
I am convinced that after Obama took office, Valerie Jarrett had a meeting with the heads of the various federal departments and said,
Now, tell us what your department can do to help the Democrat Party.
Good illustration of the ease with which most Progressive (as in basic Progressive ideological semantics) positions lack solid foundation in what America's Founders described as "natural law."
Lacking foundation in a Creator's law which supersedes all man-conceived law, the foundations shift, and what is described as the "rule of law," instead of being a reliable measure for justice or injustice, becomes a "rule of law" that means only, "because I and a group of my friends say so." This story provides example of the fallacy and danger to liberty when the beloved "rule of law" concept is sullied by Progressive use of the term, with all that that implies.
A 19th Century Black Scholar, Ohio State Legislator, and Bishop of the A.M.E. Church, a few years after the end of the great Civil War, was invited to celebrate the Centennial of the Declaration of Independence in Norwalk, Ohio. His remarks including the following declaration:
"Withdraw from Christendom the Bible, the Church with its sacraments and ministry, and Christian morality and hopes, and aspirations for time and eternity; repeal all the laws that are founded in the Christian Scriptures; remove the Christian humanities in the form of hospitals and asylums, and reformatories and institutions of mercy utterly unknown to unchristian countries; destroy the literature, the culture, the institutions of learning, the art, the refinement, the place of woman in her home and in society, which owe their origin and power to Christianity; blot out all faith in Divine Providence, love, and righteousness; turn back every believer in Christ to his former state; remove all thought or hope of the forgiveness of sins by a just but gracious God; erase the name of Christ from every register it sanctifiesin a word annihilate all the legitimate and logical effects of Christianity in Christendomjust accomplish in fact what multitudes of gifted and learned minds are wishing and trying to accomplish by their science, philosophy, and criticism, and what multitudes of the common people desire and seek, and not only would all progress toward and unto perfection cease, but not one of the shining lights of infidelity would shine much longer. Yes, the bitterest enemies of this holy and blessed religion, owe their ability to be enemies to its sacred revelations - to the inspiration and sublimity of that faith which reflects its glories on their hostile natures. They live in the strength of that which they would destroy. They are raised to their seats of opportunity and power by the grace of Him they would crucify afresh; and is it to be thought that they are stronger than that which gives them strength? Can it be supposed that a religion which civilizes and subdues, and elevates and blesses will succumb to the enmities it may arouse and quicken in its onward march? Are we to tremble for the ark of God when God is its upholder, and protector, and preserver? - Dr. Benjaming W. Arnett, St. Paul A.M.E. Church, Urbana, Ohio, Centennial Thanksgiving Sermon, November 1876. Arnett's "Sermon" is available in the "Library of Congress - Historical Collections" - "African-American Pamphlets from the Daniel A. P. Murray Collection," 1820-1920; American Memory, Washington, DC.
... Once the party of law and order, Republicans are now challenging it ...
Republicans are still the party of law and order, it just that the justice system that services it is full of weasels, crooks and corrupt politicians.
Guaranteed to be front and center in the Coup attempt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Ministry of Propaganda always has a narrative.
The narrative must always support the agenda.
Same headline written by today's leftist media: Roosevelt Gets US Into War With Japan!
lack solid foundation in what America’s Founders described as “natural law.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Americans today lack the ability to comprehend the simple logic of natural law.
Someone born with multiple nationalities is NATURALLY not a natural born citizen.
The whole Kenyanesian Usurpation was avoidable, but BOTH parties wanted to run ineligible candidates.
Disband the FBI. Let the SS and US Marshalls pick up the slack along with military investigative services. And if the CIA doesn’t straighten up, they’ll be next.
Sessions was a bad pick by Trump, not because Sessions is himself bad, but because Sessions was too involved with campaigning for Trump. For any cabinet office other than Attorney General, that would not have been a problem. But as AG, Sessions has properly recused himself from certain matters, which, it now turns out are of great importance. The full extent of what has been discovered probably was not foreseeable at the time Trump appointed Sessions. Keep in mind that the FISA spying on Trump continued well into Trump's administration. I have to think that Trump did not know the full extent of the FBI's malfeasance at that time.
The question is, how can Trump get out of this bind? Maybe give Sessions a lateral transfer to another cabinet post? A promotion to the Supreme Court?
I did like and trust Session before but he just needs to go..He acts afraid of something..You are right he was a bad pick.
Every agent that turned a blind eye to this corruption gets a Jr. Jack Booted Thug pin to wear on their lapel.
Love is a highly inappropriate word here.
Except for those who, in their hearts, are wearing the Brown Shirts of Dem tyranny....
Thanks markomalley. Nice rejoinder to the DNC talking points being regurgitated by Partisan Media Shills.
Any police corruption is unacceptable.
