The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows President Trump making substantial gains after Tuesday’s State of the Union speech, and achieving his highest voter approval since March 7, 2017.
Likely U.S. Voters are evenly split at 49% in their approval or disapproval of President Trump’s job performance.
The latest figures include 35% who Strongly Approve of the way Trump is performing and 38% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -3. (see trends).
These findings include the first two full nights of surveying following Tuesday’s speech.

Is Rasmussen a liberal poll?
Because if they are, and are willing to report these numbers, then the actual approval number is well into positive territory.
The margin of sampling error for the full sample of 1,500 Likely Voters is +/- 2.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
No, it’s one of the few that are not.
It's interesting to go back and see Obama's SOTU speeches.
Platitudes and promises. No results, even with eight years of him in office.
Trump is the antithesis of Obama.
Less emphasis on talk (although his SOTU was excellent), but big on Results.
The media held up a white rabbit and called it brown for a year. Some people must have tuned in to see the train wreck stupid racist Trump speak. And found out they were effing LIED TO.
I lived in Switzerland in the early 90s and used to read the Herald Tribune, Newsweek, and watch CNN International. So I had heard of Rush Limbaugh, the hideous racist monster with whacked out views. One night he was on a show (NBC International I think, when that started up). I was astonished to find him completely normal, funny, and espousing nice American views. When I got back to the US I found him and tuned him in every day.
Another time the goodygoodys failed miserably was telling we kids in the 70s that drugs were all as evil as the devil. Those films we saw where the guy smokes a whiff of reefer and jumps off the bridge because he is sure he can fly. Well, that was such a lie, most of us assumed the info on other drugs (a lot more dangerous) was also pure lies.
Americans can handle the truth. Like, here’s a good one, IT IS OK TO HOLD OPINIONS DIFFERENT FROM GLOBALIST SOCIALISM. In fact, global socialism fails a lot and doesn’t consider individual freedoms at all. There are a lot better opinions than the one “they” are forcing you to hold.

Ya he is MAGA-ing the entire country, Jobs, 401k's are up, raises and bonuses, and they are trying to make teh country safer with kicking the living $h!t out of MS-13, and oh ya ISIS is pretty much wiped out. Up to bat and working on, are the Opiod Crisis, and Immigration to name two.
Regardless what the MSLSD-BC/BS media tells us, even Stevie Wonder can see it, this is all good.

Imagine what his numbers would be if the daily media barrage of negative coverage was only 50% instead of 90%.
