Okay, what kind of predatory behavior or payouts is he going to be tied to? Seems that nearly all of the members of congress that have called it quits since about Thanksgiving are escaping from bad behavior. If I were a member, I sure wouldn’t call it quits right this instance.

Before writing him off as a do-nothing, people should consider that him pushing the Benghazi investigation was instrumental in the discovery and advancement of the stories about Hillary's email, which turned out to be a critical issue in the campaign. Had Gowdy not done what he did, Hillary might be President today.
Its a sign to me that the “memo” is going nowhere, and FBI reform or change is not going anywhere either.
