An 8-year-old Jewish boy in France was beaten by strangers for wearing a kippa, the last in a string of anti-Semitic attacks.
The unidentified child was mugged by two young men in the Parisian suburb of Sarcelles on Tuesday, and French President Emmanuel Macron echoed prosecutors' sentiments that he was attacked because of the symbol of his religion.
“Every time a citizen is attacked because of his age, his appearance or his faith, the whole Republic is attacked,” the president posted on Twitter.
