I am deeply offended and triggered by the airlines assumption to the avions gender and species identity, perhaps the fowl prefers to be recognised as a pehen or xehen, did anybody bother to ask? This poor gender fluid creature diserves the same rights as everyone else but also is entitled to extra rights. What kind of world do we live in if we cannot afford the same basic human rights to a bird?
Unfortunately that effed up logic is what we are facing, God help us.
They do not want their animal to fly in a crate in the bottom of the plane. A “support” animal gets to fly with them in the main cabin.
This was originally for seeing eye dogs for blind people. It is being abused by people like this that do not want to pay $300+ to have the pet spend the flight in a crate.
When you ship a dog you have to take it to the cargo terminal. It has to get there long before the flight leaves. The cargo hold is also not air conditioned. Therefore, if it is over 90 degrees they will not let your dog fly. Your dog also has to have a health certificate issued by a vet within a few days of the flight. My wife has shipped dogs as far away as Thailand.
I think she was just looking for trouble.

Unfair! I demand my Constitutional Right (it’s in there, somewhere, in invisible ink, under Penumbras, or Emanations) to have my beloved emotional support cobra in my lap with me at all times anywhere I go!

I have been laughing so much over this feels great
i hate pets anywhere but petsmart and petco. I have 3 dogs/2 cats and they stay home when i go to the store.
People are crazy and demanding.
Legally these emotional support animals ARE allowed in
apartments/condos that don’t allow pets-—and when traveling.
It’s absolute madness.

I had a peacock show one day, and he never left. He was quiet and docile for nine months out of the year, and the other three months he was loud and aggressive.
Damn I hate United. Those SOB’s denied boarding my guide/support Hyena. The Hyena took it well though. Laughed through it all as the ticket agent refused to issue a boarding pass for Chuckles.
Boarding now Grizzly Adams and his emotional support bear.
We had peacocks as a kid, loud dirty birds. Can’t imagine traveling with one.
I do know a family with an emotional support duck...They flew with “Snowfake” out to Califonisto appear on Steve Harvey’s “Little Big shot”
