Agreed. All this “special counsel” nonsense. The DOJ should conduct a high-level investigation about this.

Can the DOJ be trusted to investigate itself? Also - is the DOJ allowed to convene a grand jury for indictments? (Honest question; I am not sure how the ability to criminally charge would work).
Just some things to think about - I totally realize that the “special counsel” process has inherent flaws.
