Trump has UP TO 5 days to handle the memo....
BUT he could also READ it ON camera live tonight for all to hear.
That would be delicious.
How many Dems at tonight’s SOTU speech would be bolting for the doors if Trump read the 4 page memo into his speech????
What a treat that would be.
Even if it’s just a stunt...I’d love to see him pull a memo out of his jacket pocket and ask “Should I read this?”
They’d be able to built half of The Wall with the bricks the Democrats would s#it!
That would be MY plan. Let all the American audience hear it first hand & in Trump’s voice, reading the memo out loud on camera.

There were a lot of us who knew.
There is more to the Memo than just the Memo.
There is the narrative, the Memo story.
Today is the SOTU day. All attention is focused on the President and his message and those foolish dweebs who rebut it.
Later, the Memo story will be the News Of The Day with no distraction. It will suddenly appear with minimum time for the rats to kill it. Schiff will try but being a loser, will fail.
Maintaining control of the news means carefully and selectively controlling the total output to gain maximum advantage. The President and Republicans are not accustomed to being able to have such power but seem to be managing it well.

True, but there is a way he can address the issue of widespread government corruption in his SOTU address and yet still stay positive:
There will certainly be a portion of his speech devoted to the status of his major campaign promises - all he needs to do is include in that summary his pledge to drain the swamp.

This will be a perfect day for Page, Strzok, etc., to quietly skulk off to their cars carrying file boxes of their stuff.
No, that is not what I mean.
The ultimate goal is not to score debate points, embarass an opponent, or to win a shouting match. There is a serious effort underway to clean up a corrupt system while preserving the constitutional order. At some point, there will be trials, not in congressional hearing rooms or television studios, but in courts of law and strict adherence to procedure will be almost as important as the evidence presented.
I would argue that they are under constant surveillance and can carry nothing out of the building.

Another FReeper posited that the meeting between Trump and Nunes August 2016 in a private, non-public setting (ostensibly a “campaign” fund raising event) in Tulare, CA set the stage. It IS interesting that this stop was not the normal campaign rally that Trump executed so well. There was no rally at all. Why would Trump waste time in California? It seemed curious at the time, but we Californians had the forelorn hope that maybe CA was in play.
Drop the evidence during the SotU speech and see which rats start sweating and try to run.

Right - “special counsel” doesn’t fix conflicts of interest in investigating itself.
If the Executive Branch (DOJ, FBI, etc) is suspected of misbehavior or crimes, it is the job of CONGRESS to investigate, since the House and the Senate have the sole power of impeachment and removal.
Will he have armed guards in case the left side of the House rushes him?
