Levin: Mueller probe has become a ‘silent coup’ against POTUS
Conservative Review ^ | January 23, 2018 | Jordan Schachtel

The CRTV host argued that Mueller is trying to “destroy” Trump.

CRTV host Mark Levin began his radio show Tuesday by saying that special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference in the election is slowly turning into a “silent coup” attempt against President Trump’s legitimacy.

Levin explained, “I have personally come to the conclusion, after reading leaks today from Robert Mueller’s office … that in fact, he’s not building a criminal case against the president for obstruction, but he is building an obstruction case.”

Levin argued that Mueller will target the president by accusing Trump of trying to “derail an investigation.” A constitutional attorney, Levin predicted that Mueller will intimidate people under investigation into making hostile statements against the president.

Mueller is not interested in bringing charges, Levin explained, arguing that the goal is to try to “destroy” President Trump.

“This is exactly why Robert Mueller has surrounded himself with Democrat and liberal apparatchiks,” he added, reminding the radio audience of Mueller’s highly partisan team of prosecutors.

Levin explained that although the Trump-Russia narrative is collapsing, the Left is not at all concerned with the facts of the matter, only the end game that leads to President Trump’s dismissal from office.

And since Mueller has not been able to find any evidence of actual collusion, just what part of the investigation was Trump trying to obstruct before Mueller got involved?

The purpose of the investigation is not to investigate "Russia collusion," it is to manufacture process crimes as in perjury-traps and self-defense = obstruction.

The internet and social media has destroyed the stranglehold the MSM had on information back in the day.

It all started right here with Dan Rather and Buckhead. That was the beginning of the end for them.

You personality cultist worshippers are all the same. “Never” this and “never” that is old, tired, overused and lazy. You can thank Levin for breaking this whole thing wide open (the first might I add) in his radio show back in July 2017. He voted for the man, implored his listeners to do the same. Just because he doesn’t walk lock step with our Pr side the doesn’t make him “never” anything.

This “ never” mantra reminds me of being back in grade school again. Where there’s lack of intelligible debate insert “ you you you never Trump”

Can you have obstruction without first proving that the person obstructing did something wrong, or believes he/she did something wrong?

If there is no collusion, and Trump believes there was no collusion, what was there for him to obstruct?

Doesn’t matter who he fired (as far as obstruction is concerned) if there was nothing to obstruct in the first place! Am I missing something?

Only risk is the perjury trap. Trump - do NOT meet with that slime unless they show their cards and evidence of criminality. (Especially then - don’t meet!)

Yeah, I get all that.

But sooner or later, an underlying crime has to be identified. Otherwise, it's just nothing more than a smear. There's no way Congress will respond to a report that shows that Trump just didn't want there to be an investigation. Especially when the DoJ ordered an investigation that found nothing. The Mueller Report will get laughed out of the halls of Congress.

The Russian narrative was all set-up to lead Mueller to obstruction. I’m not impressed with what I’ve seen from Trump’s lawyers like Ty Cobb who seems too passive.

I thought I was? Dear Mr. Levin? I would call him Mark but figured Mr. Levin was more respectful as I have never met him and am not on a first name basis. But if Mark is considered more appropriate, then I will use it.

LS believes Mueller is working as a White Hat and is rooting out corruption at the FBI and DOJ.

If that's true, why did Mueller populate his investgative team with rabid Clntonistas?

It fails the laugh test.

He’s actually not a Never Trumper any more. He’s been converted, going so far as to say that Trump is the most conservative president since Ronald Reagan. But he does tend to be a bit negative.

Actually, no.

Scooter Libby did not expose Valerie Plame's "undercover" CIA status.

Richard Armitage did.

Patrick Fitzgerald knew it from the beginning, and never even questioned Armitage.

Scooter Libby made the mistake of believing if he had nothing to hide, he had nothing to fear, so he agreed to talk to the FBI.

When he talked to them a second time some of what he said the first time didn't exactly match what he said the second time.

By the logic of the feral government, that is lying to the FBI, and he was prosecuted and convicted.

You miss the point. He has a FR name: "holdonnow". You can use it in the "To" field, if you wish to address him directly. Or not. It's up to you. But if you really want him to see your message, it might help.

"Donald J Trump" is also an FR name. I occasionally use it, on the thought that he, or at least one of his minions, might be monitoring it.

And give the Democrats fodder to impeach Trump if they win the House in Nov.
