What President Trump really needs to do is handle this shut down differently from the others. During the shutdown, he is given great powers as President. He needs to shut down the EPA, the Department of Education, the State Department traitors. And other useless agencies. At the same time he needs to assure our border patrol agents. Our Department of Defense nurses. Our Navy Yard metal workers. This is President Trump’s opportunity to shine. I pray he does not squander it.

Actually if all of the Republicans voted Yes, then assuming the five Democrat Yes votes still happened there would be no shutdown.

Jeff Flake, Lindsey Graham, Mike Lee and Rand Paul voted No. I can understand the first three, they are never Trumpers. But why did Rand Paul join with them?

Oh, and as of this post John McCain and Mitch McConnell hadn't voted.
