1. 2018 will be a very rough year for President Trump — and almost-catastrophic for the Republican Party, which has morphed into the Trump Party;
2. Last week’s Quinnipiac poll said it all: While 66 percent of the American people rate the economy as either “good or excellent,” only 36 percent approve of the job President Trump is doing;
3. Normally, a president’s approval rating tracks the rating of the economy: When the economy is struggling, so is the POTUS’ ratings. Conversely, previous presidents generally had their approval numbers go up when the economy went up;
4. But Trump’s behavior — his divisive, boastful, dishonest, egotistical, infantile, self-aggrandizing personality — has made it impossible for most people to give him any credit for anything;
27. All of this means that 2018 looks bad for Trump — and hideous for the Republican Party;
28. Predictions for 2018: A.) Mueller will produce evidence of criminal wrongdoing by President Trump; B.) the Republican Party will get slaughtered in November.

Don’t believe these Lying Leftist Media outlets like The Hill. They are presumed to be lying and we should presume what they publish is a lie. The presumption can only be rebutted with the outlet providing clear and convincing evidence they are not lying.
Why don’t we follow Trump’s lead here on FR? Let’s limit posting headlines from these wretched Lying Leftist outlets. If this story is true and has some redeeming value, at least get the story from a reasonably reliable source, not from a known Lying Leftist operative posing as a “news” organization.
If we’re told a lie, don’t repeat it. Neutralize the lie by speaking the truth. Lies aren’t defeated by repeating the lie. Lies are defeated by repeating the truth. We should have our eyes on the prize - in this case, politically, what it takes to recover our Free Constitutional Republic. That should be what we major on and focus on.
We should be mostly publishing the truth on FR, not the lies, and as much good news as possible to bolster morale. We should find and post reasonably reliable sources that have already deconstructed the lie and replaced it with the truth and with a headline that says the truth. We need much more of that on FR IMO. The key is the headline and the first few sentences because not everyone has time to drill down. The endless stream of negative, lying headlines sabotages our purpose IMO.
He wants Trump to lose because he wants US to lose.
Our country.

I think a counterattack is needed. Am not sure just how, but the Twitter is doing a good job, just not good enough. I have often thought the RNC and PACs should purchase full page ads from major, regional newspapers, plus time on the enemy TV channels, to take the good news to the people.

This guy, haven’t heard from him in while. Actually, he’s not country club at all, he’s something a paleoconservative. I would have figured he would be supportive of Trump, partially on things like trade and immigration. In fact I think he was supportive, last time I checked.
But he’s also a professional crank, with weirdo conspiracy ideas. He’s obsessed with notion that Vietman still has US pows, always thinks some huge scandal is about to break, and during the Condit incident he wrote an article saying his “source that never let him down” told him Condit was acey duecey and had a Caribbean male hooker on a motorcycle kill that girl, Newsmax.com pulled the article.
