Isn’t it just the best thing that we’ve finally got a President of the USA who calls a shithole a shithole?

In fact of all Donald Trump’s many qualities, I think this may be his greatest and his most underrated strength.

But you’re not supposed to say this. At least not in respectable company. Even now – after all his incredible achievements – you’re still only allowed to praise Donald Trump if first you’ve preceded it with lots of disclaimers about how much you deplore his sexism, his brashness, his incoherence and general uncouthness…

I remember when the UN-official motto of Arkansas was “THANK GOD FOR MISSISSIPPI” as the worst of everything was always Mississippi, followed by Arkansas.
Now thanks to Walmart, NW Arkansas it is not as bad. Rest of the state, well, I’ve lived here off and on for over sixty years, and I still know almost NOTHING about anything east of Bentonville. My eyes are always looking West.

Being retired military, we know proper deportment and a large command of the English language can lend an air of respect to ones speech. However, there are times when tight succinct communication needs to take place and perhaps a strategically placed less than civil response is called for.

Our Congress is living in La-La land with Alice and pink rabbits. Reminds me of the scene in the movie about football where the coach and the lineman are having a heated debate in the locker room after the playoff game loss. The player said “every time a call it a game you say it’s a business and every time I call it a business you say it’s a game!”

At least now, whether the president uttered the phrase in question or not, the entire nation is on the same page. Therefore, Mr. and Ms. Congressperson, what say you in answer to the President’s question and why is your stance better for all Americans and America?

Well, ( in my best Ted Baxter ) we’re waiting.......

So, might one say you know a s-hole when you see one? I only did one tour during a busy time in military history(see tag line)and I've seen an s-hole or two. 👹

I worked in construction management on large mining projects all over the world...Africa, all over South America, and many of the countries we worked in were referred to as TWSH...”Third World S Holes”.

The acronym was standard and is routinely included in conversation, as, “wonder what TWSH we will be off to after this project is done”?

I’m not convinced president Trump actually said this, considering the source being the lying POS, Dick Durban, but if he did say it, it was not the first time it has been used.

what kills me...when I was in 2nd grade,(roman catholic school - nuns), we were given these small cans with a slit in it for coins. (UNICEF?)
We were asked to collect change to help feed the “pagan” babies in africa.

Here is 61 years later and, we’re still sending money to feed the “pagan” babies.

And someone is complaining about ‘em being called spitholes ? no, they are complaining because Pres. Trump called them spitholes (or spithouses ?)
