I think McConnell and Ryan both want something done. If the Democrats don't do something stupid like shut down the government over this I can see them passing something before the March deadline.

Some great personage in days of yore said something really weighty to an acquaintace who he’d caught in a lie. He said, “I’m not so much angered that you’ve lied to me. I’m angry with the fact that I can never, ever trust you again.” After all the lies we KNOW Durbin has told in the past; why would we EVER believe him, about ANYTHING?!
