I really think the Rats think that Judge took away Trumps leverage so they don’t need to negotiate. As is stands now they are right. They just announced they are accepting DACA
renewal applications from the “dreamers”. Unless the Judge gets overruled the Trump cannot make them leave.

`Birthright’ citizenship is already controversial, but now we have illegal aliens who were not born here claiming the same legal right.
Black robed tyrants (Obama appointees) are protecting them, following Obama’s illegal executive order (DACA), by giving them amnesty—temporary, but still amnesty.
“Deferred” but now, as have been our experiences dealing with these people (1965, 1986, 2006), they argue they have a vested right to stay here: fundamental fairness, laches, detrimental reliance and whatever else they can throw against the wall, as Democrats like to do.
Obama. The son-of-a-bitch tried to bootstrap their parents as well with DAPA. Even the biddable judges determined Americans would find that to be a `bridge too far’. They cannot show that their madres waddled across the border and squatted on American soil. They sneaked in, many without parents, so they are here ilegaly.
The rule of law always takes precedence over equitable doctrines. And there is no legal defense available to the aliens being protected by DACA and “progressive” judges. Their stay here was only deferred, as admitted in the law that son-of-a-bitch made up out of whole cloth.
No equitable arguments are available to them because of their unclean hands in coming here in violation of our immigration laws. They can’t hold up the “I was born here” card. Get `em outta here.

The Democrats are looking for a reason to shut down the government - President Trump just took one off the table.
I doubt it. Graham and Durbin will probably cobble together a plan that will get enough votes to make it through the House and Senate.
I was just posting about that as well, when yours came out. Why has this issue not been on the table during the recent discussions? Trump even once claimed in an interview with Bill O'Reilly that Anchor Babies aren't even citizens, which is a common interpretation of the law.
Anchor Babies should at least be something that is drawn attention to during these discussions, to point out the Democrats are going to get to keep them, assuming that is what will happen, to offset other things that they should not get. Otherwise it looks like we just caved on even leaving it alone and don't even get to use it as a bargaining point.
Graham and Durbin continue on seeking support like nothing happened.
Outside the usual suspects this thing gets no real consideration, at least not by anyone not suicidal.
