US President Donald Trump has denied using crude words attributed to him about Haiti, El Salvador and African countries.
Reports that he had called them “s---hole countries” in an Oval Office meeting generated a backlash worldwide.
One UN official called the remarks racist and said they opened “the door to humanity’s worst side”.
But Mr. Trump has tweeted that “this was not the language” he used in a meeting about immigration.
He wrote that the language he used was “tough, but this was not the language used”.
The Washington Post, the New York Times, Politico and the Wall Street Journal all reported the comments on Thursday, quoting witnesses or people briefed on the meeting. The White House did not deny them. …

Sure is frustrating them that goal #1 is not proceeding as well as they thought, especially after a whole year of trying.

Why can’t media be sued for fake news? It’s the same as false accusations made by a public person.
They would much rather have Pence; he is such a nice, polite man they are convinced they can easily run over the top of him. No idea if that would be true but that is what they think.
Well, if they have that impression, they must have gotten it when Tim Cook bullied him over Indiana’s law defending marriage.

I voted for this President for several reasons, and one of them was because he was refreshingly politically incorrect.
This is the land of the free; the home of the brave.

Poverty is inherited from your forebearers and nurtured by your peers. It is embedded in the culture, and it may not be possible to fully excise the attitudes in members of that culture after a certain age.
