US President Donald Trump has denied using crude words attributed to him about Haiti, El Salvador and African countries.
Reports that he had called them s---hole countries in an Oval Office meeting generated a backlash worldwide.
One UN official called the remarks racist and said they opened the door to humanitys worst side.
But Mr. Trump has tweeted that this was not the language he used in a meeting about immigration.
He wrote that the language he used was tough, but this was not the language used.
The Washington Post, the New York Times, Politico and the Wall Street Journal all reported the comments on Thursday, quoting witnesses or people briefed on the meeting.
The White House did not deny them.

Note to all drive-by media:
All of you drive-by media outlets assume too much when you make pronouncements as to how the President of the United States should speak and act. The American people do NOT agree with your assessment. Were not at all like you and I for one, refuse to go through life believing that I must adapt to politically correct environments in order to avoid extinction. Perhaps it is in YOUR best interests to adapt to the changing environment as President Trump and the American people continue to make America great again. Until then, I consider (and will encourage others to do the same) your net worth to the overall well-being of this nation to be that of the biggest wooden nickel the world has ever known. Thank you too much and have a nice day.
I’m sure Fox will apologize for what he said to Trump.
Whether he used the slur or not, the substance of his alleged remarks are factually true. No rational person would deny that all else being equal, a random immigrant from Norway is going to make a more positive contribution to the US than one from Haiti, El Salvador, or Chad. The Norwegian will probably have some education and skills, English fluency, and is orders of magnitude less likely to be a criminal or some other sort of trouble-maker.
If he didn’t, he should have. It is something I would say.
Just don’t care about whether the President said it or not. Either way, the descriptor is accurate. Those who think it is not accurate, should move there and enjoy it.
At best these dishonest media are quoting people briefed on the meeting, not quoting anyone actually at the meeting. So an anonymous person at the meeting tells an unnamed person who tells the WaPo. They are LLPOF all the time.
What is a ‘migrant’ country?
All he has to do is say he had a cold. Everything is forgiven (not).
Ahhhh More Fake News
Jim, after all the threads about the White House not denying President Trumps alleged remarks, this is big news to me. Do you think it should be moved to Breaking?
Never mind -they will invoke the 25th!!
Even AP feels free to use the uncensored form of “s-—hole” after this third-hand account they rushed to publish.
How can it be a “crude slur” if their people are risking their lives to reach the “evil” and “rasis” America with it’s evil flag? You’ve got to be doing a lot of “recreational” marijuana to think this way. These countries have to be “sh*tholes” to force their own people to run away and become “refugees” in “evil” America.
Sure, if they want President Pence.
And if they go after Pence, they can have President Ryno.
I just learned sh!thole is a race!! Who knew?
“If he didnt, he should have. It is something I would say.”
And what every one knows is the truth, including all the sanctimonious a**holes in the media.
One so poorly run that they have a national policy of exporting people in large numbers. Somalia is a classic case-- climate of Southern California, population density of Kansas and 2000 miles of coastline astride on of the world's busiest trade routed.
It is the perfect destination for UN multicultural refugee resettlement.
Trump: Hey, Fake News, what I actually said was “deplorable” countries. That’s acceptable, right?
