Since there's a virtual blackout on news of the protests in Iran, I'm posting some updates that aren't being generally reported.
Pres. Trump needs to help the Iranian people get publicity through satellite & high tech methods. If the protesters can communicate better within Iran, they can better organize.
The Iranian regime is depending upon being able to keep the world in the dark in order to quell the protests
Updates:
Widespread labor strikes in Iran. Yet, there's absolutely zero coverage in the press or media.
In Isfahan, fuel truck drivers have stopped delivering fuel. Protests in Isfahan last night calling for Referendum.
This past weekend, Bazaars were shut down in Mashhad, Tehran and Yazd. Esfehan and Yazd witnessed moderate sized protests on Sun night.
Bus drivers in western Iran went on strike.
Oil industry workers at Assalooyeh oil field walked off the job last Thursday.
Thank you!
Thank you for the update!
Thanks
Thnks
No media coverage is a good sign.
Could mean the lefties side (any oppressive regime).. in this case iran..is losing?
Thank you for this.
Do you have sources or links that we can share? Where are you getting the info.?
FReepers can be pretty good at getting some heat started.
bttt
I’m getting it thru Iranian sources
Bkmrk.
“No media coverage is a good sign.”
Not in this case. The lack of coverage is mostly due to the internet & communication blackout within Iran imposed by the regime. That’s why we need to help the protesters publicize what’s happening.
wow.
pong
Is it something we can share or just correspondence?
A bank got burned down.
We can do better. Somebody ping FR media connections and get these folks talking IRL.

This video from 1989 when Khamenei was elected is interesting as Khamenei was against having one person as a leader and was in favor of a committee. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mExpRMwbkKM
Here is a short summary:
Thread on 1989 referendum in Iran and the assembly of experts election of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei as Supreme Leader 1- Imam Khomeini called for revising the constitution, he also sent a letter to the head of the assembly of experts Ayatollah Meshkini (Apr 89) https://twitter.com/alihashem_tv/status/951116772563972097
Why is there no coverage, even on Fox? How does the Iranian government block it?
