Students at Florida Gulf Coast University can take all sorts of enriching classes — from gender studies to social justice.
But a class on white racism is causing all sorts of campus chaos and charges of reverse racism.
The university calls it “White Racism.” But I call it, “Blame the White Man 101.”
The class, taught by Professor Ted Thornhill, “will interrogate the concept of race; examine the racist ideologies, laws, policies, and practices that have operated for hundreds of years to maintain white racial domination over those racialized as non-white.”
The New York Daily News reports student will also have the opportunity “to discuss ways to challenge white racism and white supremacy toward promoting an anti-racist society where whiteness is not tied to greater life chances.”
“There are a lot of people that … don’t even know that white privilege exists anymore, and it does,” student Zack De Armon told the News-Press.
Police were on hand for the first day of class after the professor said he received thousands of “vile” statements that allegedly included “racial epithets.
There were no reported incidents and the professor said he intends to continue teaching the controversial class.
“The course needs to be taught, and so, that’s what’s going to happen,” he told television station WINK. “It’s a legitimate course.”
That’s a load of Grade-A fertilizer, folks. It seems to me the professor is simply interested in guilting white students simply because of the color of their skin.
It’s a charge the professor denies.
“It’s not simply the title. . . . As a sociologist, I tell my students all the time, they need to depersonalize. It’s not all about you,” Thornhill told the Washington Post. “I’m not talking about specific white individuals. I’m talking about a group racialized as white. So many people in this hyper-individualized society, they tend to take all this personally. They think they’re being attacked.”
I’m sick and tired of so-called academics like Professor Thornhill advancing a false narrative that white people have special privileges because they are white.
Florida Gulf Coast University needs to explain why our tax dollars are funding a class that flies in the face of the notion that we should judge people on the content of their character — instead of the color of their skin.

The course (and courses like it) exist because they are the ONLY courses these cretins can pass.
(And the only courses those “professors” can teach.)
Why can’t we all just blame everyone else?

Well, of course, they have to blame the White guy. You can’t expect them to blame their shiftless parents, who dropped out of high school or middle school, never married, got hooked on crack etc etc etc. So the White guy, who had married parents who brought them up to respect the law, expected them to finish high school and taught them the value of work, had an unfair advantage.
They gots to knock him down.
It is why the KommieKrats targeted the schools a long time ago. Making little brainwashed brown shirts....
Does it ever occur airhead libs that racism is something that people of all races are capable of? Non- whites are not immune from being guilty of it. They are not all perfect angels. And whites are not all bigoted beasts,either.

Funny how buzzwords and BS are more effective for hiding behind and "checking the box" up the Peter-principled ladder... than for building anything functionally useful upon.

And with the blame comes the credit due for all of the good things.
All that money flowing into the cartels.
And there’s still no functional sewer system on the Southern side of the San Diego / Tijuana border.
Whose fault is that?
Eventually whites are going to get tired. Not angry or violent, that comes later, but tired. Once we begin to withdraw from this “multicultural” society, what will they do. Whites carry the financial burden of the after effects of decades of moral degeneracy within the AA community. When the burn down Baltimore, who pays to have it rebuilt? When they demand more funds for New Orleans after Katrina, who pays? They run “their” cities and they are falling apart. What was once about equality, has in fact become about supremacy, but it’s not White supremacy. It makes one wonder, if Wallace, Barnett, Fabus et al weren’t prophets. It’s not whites who want segregation now...

The group of white people are bad people. But (of course!!!!!) I'm not calling you -- you individual white person -- I'm not calling you a bad person. I'm just saying that all white people are bad. But don't take that personally.
"hyper-individualized society"? They want a hive mind.
What's unfortunate is that even kids who want to pursue studies in the hard sciences and engineering get this garbage inflicted on them through core curriculum required courses. So if you go to school to study chemistry or electrical engineering, you'll most likely still be forced to take a class where you learn about "White Racism."
